Browns vs Saints

Hey there Saints fans, Browns fan here. I wish we had some wide receivers so we could actually score some points, but we're showing up anyhow.

I see the Saints seemed to have righted the ship vs. T Bay after some offensive problems early on this year. Our secondary has been shredded, especially on 3rd & long all year, so I'm pretty sure Brees will be smiling.

Hopefully someday soon, my Browns can be a factor. It's been a real struggle since coming back in 1999. Good luck Sunday.

Hey Bob nice to see you here. I think your guys will have a tough game this week but I like what the Browns are doing for the future. Hillis looks like a real stud and McCoy might finally be the solution to ya'lls QB woes. Looking forward to sunday.

How's Scott Fujita working out for y'all? We understood his decision to move but really hated to see him go. I hope we give him a pretty good ovation when he enters the dome.

Ivory is going to thump a lot of people..... Glad to see I am not the only Ivory Fan!

Fujita's playing well...his best game was against Cincy a few weeks ago, he had a sack & blocked a FG. Our D is nothing spectacular, but solid against the run (so far).

For what it's worth, I'm a huge Brees fan. He was awesome at Purdue, and I'm still surprised the Chargers cut him loose. He tore us up in the opener in 2006, and hasn't slowed down at all.

James Harrison = Roid Rage, plain & simple

I felt Brees put Purdue back on the map in modern times. I remember him in college.

As for Funjita, he was one of my favorites from last year. He left because the Browns paid him well. It was business. He'll play well for you guys.

Anyway, welcome to the forum bobster. I was hoping the Saints would get to beat up on Delhomme another time before he leaves the league. But oh well. We like them rookies.

Here's to a great game. Enchante.

Delhomme....ugh. Nice guy, a competitor, but he's done. That was a big reach by my Browns, but they wanted a veteran after the Anderson/Quinn debacle.

Looks like the Browns are heading in the right direction.

Don't let the bottom feeders of our fanbase give you an improper opinion. That place is the teen hangout of Browns forums. It's where all the youngins go because it appears first on google. We'd love to have some guys com over and give us a scouting report and your expectations on the game @ Barking Hard - Cleveland Browns Forum.

I would say don't be too confident you are getting a victory. We've played hard game in and game out, and every game has been close ...a couple plays here and there and we'd be at least a .500 team, if not better. For what we lack in talent, we almost make up for in heart. What we seem to be finding is we come out strong, throw some good punches in the first half, and usually go into the half with the lead. But then our opposition makes adjustments, and we just don't have the talent to hang all 4 quarters. That being said, Colt McCoy adds a new wrinkle to the picture, and quite frankly in his first game as a rookie, he looked better than any other QB on our roster. If he improves over last game, you guys just may have more of a fight than you anticipate.

Stop on over and check us out ...we could use a diversion from the Steeler trolls whining about the pocket change that James "The Roid" Harrison was fined for his 2 brutal hits that took our our #1, and #2 receivers.

Here's to a close, injury free game on Sunday!

(really nice forum by the way ...I love it)

Colt is a rookie....we make rookies look like Payton Manning....im actually kind of nervous about this one.....AFC game with an appoint we've only play about every 4 years......TRAP GAME

I worry about us every week. It is so easy to play sandlot football on any given week; to start thinking that the guy in front of you has your back. We took care of Tampa and some may think that its now automatic: King Sharper is going to strap it up and WILL us to victory. It just doesn't happen like that. If we don't take care of this team, they could be real trouble. Especially if we let them hang around too long. Another SOLID win is what I'm looking for. Limited mistakes and penalties with good execution and tackling.

Choupique 10-20-2010 09:00 AM

The Browns shouldn't be a problem.

Quote:

The Browns have sputtered for much of the season, averaging just 14.7 points per game (31st in the NFL) and struggling to find consistent play at quarterback. Cleveland took a hit when Mangini announced this week that defensive end Robaire Smith's back injury could be a long-term ailment, further weakening a unit that ranks 23rd in the NFL.

Last time they met

Saints 19, Browns 14

Sept. 10, 2006

In Sean Payton's first game as Saints coach, kicker John Carney made four field goals to help the Saints to a season-opening win. Running backs Deuce McAllister and Reggie Bush combined to rack up 216 yards of offense to lead the Saints.
Two Dat.

Wow...Browns shock the world. I can't believe the Saints didn't exploit our secondary.
