How do you prepare for 2 games in 4 days?
Just wondering how the Saints will Gameplan for the Seattle game and then the Dallas game four days later.
Do they film study both and refresh for the Dallas game? split the weeks? |
No need to gameplan for Dallas. They will beat themselves.
|
Tough. This is why I don't think we walk over Dallas.
|
Dallas has to do the same thing, only they are at home both weeks whereas we play two road games the first one on the west coast. I still say it is a wash. Cowboys are winless at home. I wish they could play in primetime every week. I derive indescribable pleasure from watching them implode week after week.
TheKillerBs, that is the funniest avatar I have seen in a long, long time. |

I listened to Mike Smith on Sirius the other day and he was asked the same question. He mentioned the coaches reviewed film and planned for the Thrusday game during the bye week but did not introduce the game plan to the team until Monday after their Sunday game. I would think Payton and Saints would do something similar. |
We looked over Dallas last year, i dont think Sean will be doing that again, especially since he knows the new Head Coach pretty well.
|
Well, we actually have two weeks to prepare for both.
I think we'll be fine. |
We will over look the seahawks before we overlook Dallas.
|
Dallas is a wounded animal.
Those are often quite dangerous. |

I got a feeling that the Dallas game is a revenge game in Sean's mind, something tells me he'd love to be that nail in the coffin for the Cowboys season
|
It could also be that Dallas plays with a bit more fire the next few weeks under a "new' coach. Stranger things have happened. At home on Thanksgiving against the SB champs playing for someone other than Phillips makes for a scary combination IMO.

and the way the Saints have played down to competition this season, besides last week, the Cowboys are going to put up one world of a fight against the Saints
|
After the bye week the tough part of our schedule begins....Seattle is no slouch, Dallas is desperate, Cincy is too, Rams playing well, Ravens are good, ATL and TB both division games. I think we can run the table if we play smart football an Brees limits the ball busting turnovers.
|
Dallas has John Kitna back there- if memory serves- the man had one or two good seasons in the nfl. Outside o that he stunk. he still stinks, but now he is old. Maybe Matt goes down again and we luck out and get that guy charlie or something. What's his name? He played the Giants.

As far as gameplanning for both games I think the coaches take in to account both game during this bye week and maybe even practice for both teams during the bye week but wont go into detail about the Cowboys, until the Seattle game is played. |
I honestly believe the Saints will do everything in their power to have the Seahawks game won by half time. Of course that rarely happens, but I do believe the Saints will throw everything at them and hopefully can rest some key players in the second half of that game. At least after this brutal part of the schedule is over, the Saints will have a nice recoup time ahead of them.
