The bye week certainly helped with some of the New Orleans Saints' injuries, but it also gave everyone a chance to rest and recharge their batteries after a long nine-week stretch to start the season.
Quarterback Drew Brees said he spent some time at the facility, studying film, working out and getting in some passing reps with Bush and Thomas, among others, to get their rhythm back. He also spent some time in San Diego with his family.

"I got away ... but not too far away," Brees said.
