Yeah, Yeah, I know bone and soft tissue injuries are different but c'mon man! We need PT back. No one else seems to be able to run the screen like he can. That is a big reason why the offense is struggling IMO. |
Latest word on Thomas is good ...
Payton: Pierre Thomas has 'turned a corner' Coach Sean Payton expressed optimism for the first time on Pierre Thomas' ankle, suggesting that "we've turned a corner." Thomas was officially a non-participant once again for Thursday's practice. He's been in full pads and taking part via individual drills, though he's not been included in team drills or full-speed activities. Thomas won't play against the Seahawks, but he's made encouraging progress in the past week and a half. There's a chance that he'll play next week. |

The bottom line is that no one really, really, seems to know exactly whats going on here. I know all injuries are different and some take longer to heal that others etc. etc. but, as has already been said, it seems to be taking soooooooooooooooooooooooo long for this "sprained ankle" to get sorted out!

His ankle is healing about like a Donte Stallworth hamstring.

I guess on a positive note, if he manages to stay off IR, which I still believe he may be headed there, could be a big boost for the late season.

For Seattle game least we have got Bush (limited) Ivory should be full, JJ ( I like what he brings) and......betts.... I expect Ivory and Jones to get the bulk of the carries, Betts looks done to me, least when PT comes back late on we will have a healthy backfield. |
