There's nothing like a little chaos to spice up season
Wednesday November 05, 2003 Peter Finney With the Saints and the Tigers (that's LSU) headed into a bye week, I kept thinking of a current buzzword -- chaos. I happen to like chaos, not the kind you have in Iraq, not the kind that could have engulfed the Saints had they lost on Sunday, but the kind created by the BCS. Tiger fans will be sad to discover, even if their heroes win out and capture the SEC, LSU will be playing in either the Fiesta Bowl or Orange Bowl. Here in the Superdome, it will be Oklahoma-Southern Cal for the national championship, with the Sooners a five-point morning line favorite. As for the Saints, think of the runaway chaos in town, the euphoric kind, should Jim Haslett's ballclub run the table and finish 11-5. for the rest of this article, click here: http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/index...6346287640.xml |
