Predictions for the remaining 4 games on the Saints schedule
You make the call. Predict wins and loses in the remaing 4 games of the season:
Dec. 12 ST. LOUIS RAMS 3:05 pm* FOX Dec. 19 at Baltimore Ravens 12:00 pm* FOX Dec. 27 (Monday) at Atlanta Falcons 7:30 pm ESPN Jan. 2 TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS 12:00 pm* FOX |
I said 3-1 just because I feel like the Ravens might catch us looking forward to the Falcons game.I hope we go 4-0.Then 4-0 after that for a Superbowl ring.3-0 if we somehow get hfa.
|
I voted 4-0, but 3-1 is possible with a loss in Baltimore. If we play the same way we did in Cincinnati.
|
At 1st I was going to theorize about it, its going to be cold and windy vs the Ravens , but then I thought WHAT AM I DOING!!!! None of these teams are better than the Saints in talent, depth, stats, QB, defense or offense.
IF we play our ball 4-0 |
Somewhere somehow someone will probably play better ball. After the playoffs I seriously believe that we repeat as Superbowl champions.

Okay, I'll say it ... I think 2-2 with both loses coming from BAL and ATL. Of course I don't want it to work out this way, but a few things:
1. BAL is getting desperate with LOTS of quality teams fighting to get the 6th spot they'll probably claim ... AND they are tough at home. That secondary can be beaten, but watching them against ATL (a game they clearly should have won) ... I think BAL is a very sound team that has had some tough breaks. I expect we'll lose this game. 2. ATL is good. I hate to say it --- I hate the falCLOWNS as much as the rest of you, but let's be subjective ... They are playing great football and karma seems to be on their side (like it was for us last year). They already beat us in our house this year (and just STOP with the Hartley comments ... It's a TEAM game) I think it will be a very close game --- like it always is, but home field gives them the advantage as Evans and the rest of our line who already plague themselves with penalties give a pitiful performance. (If you can't hear you don't get off the line fast ... Not getting off the line fast = an increase in holding calls). By the way, the RAMS won't be a push over this weekend, nor will the Tampons, but I see us winning both of those games ... 2-2 is my call. |
We're going not just 4 and Eaux..... but SEVEN and EAUX... all the way to a TWOPeat!
TWO DAT! |
We beat the Rams, Falcons and Bucs. We lose a close one to the Ravens and we make playoffs after winning the division. Falcons lose at least 1 more game.
|
Tough stretch for us , Atlanta has the easiest stretch out of the rest of the division..
If we can get past the Rams and Ravens i see a great chance we can win the division. |

The game in Baltimore is a major issue with the weather. We will have major problems if it is cold and the field is wet.
|
I am going to opt out of fearing the Ravens.
They are NOT better than Pit. Cin beat them, Pit beat them.... We were injured when we beat Pit. Heap is not practicing.... I refuse to fear Flacco, Bolden, or Rice. Next thing you'll be telling me we should fear the Jets. The only team that has earned any of my respect is the Pats, because they have done a lot with a very young team. So I will start to worry about any game on Feb 5th, the day before we play NE in Dallas. The talking heads have gotten to some of you. |
I voted 4-0, and I believe it is possible. I'm not prematurely throwing in the towel on any game we have left. All we need to do is play 4 quarters of football, not 1st quarter and then the last two minutes, but sixty minutes of good solid Saints football. If we do that, nobody can beat us. If our players and coaches lolly-gag around for the 2nd and 3rd quarters, we can hang it up. There is not a team left that is going to let us get away with that.
|
3-1. The swing will be Baltimore or Atlanta. If we play well in Baltimore, we'll have a let down in Atlanta. If we stumble in Baltimore, we'll play desperate and take care of Atlanta. I haven't seen us play consistently all season, and I think it continues. Our highs and lows will show up in that two week stretch.
|
I think we brain fart one game. We've been mentally flatulating for a while.
|
26-0. Undefeated through the next super bowl. That's as far as I can see. But take it to the bank.
|
I think we go 4-0. My biggest concern isn't with the tougher teams though (Ravens, Falcons) - it's with the Rams. Saints need to play up to our level and not to the level of our opponents.

We're finally getting healthy. 3-1.
|
Call me a homer, but I have the feeling the Saints are about to finally put together all the pieces. At different times this year we've seen occasional sloppy play on offense, defense, and special teams. I think we're getting to the point now where the players have made their mistakes and learned from them, and are ready to put it all together to peak just at the right time. The defense is going to start getting more turnovers, the offense is going to stay awesome, and the special teams will be at least average. Teams will need to play mistake-free, efficient football, and have a fair amount of luck to beat us.

Win Out !!!

I still believe that the Saints can win the Superbowl for the 2nd year, and that in this instance, the South WILL rise again!
Geaux Saints! |
