Has anyone ever sat in the endzone at the Dome?

I got tickets today in section 101 in the endzone on the ground level. Has anyone ever sat here? Is it really hard to see the other end of the field? What were your experiences here? I sat in the endzone at BOA stadium once and it was not too bad. I could see the whites of Joe Horns eyes when he caught a TD, I have just never sat in this section at the dome.

My Brother sits a little higher up and kinda to the left corner a bit. He loves the seats. Not so great when the action is at the other end, but pretty sweet when Drew and company are comin' right at you.

101 shouldn't be too bad. Not sure if it was 128 or 156, but I once sat right behind the goal posts and it drove me nuts. That stupid net killed it for me... Hopefully, 101 is out of the net range. I loved the time I sat in the lower level in the corner of the end zone.

Yea I am to the right of the goal post. I thought about the net thing. Good to hear it seems pretty cool. Hopefully I can give a player or two a shoutout when they leap after scoring!

I have had season tickets in the endzone since 1997 and love them. You get to see the play develop and holes open up. 101 is the opposite end from where the Saints come out. You get to harass the sheep!

my friend has seat right by the tunnel that visiting teams come out. i have sat there a few times. i like those seats when teams are coming to you. but when they are going the other way i had to watch the tv. i couldnt tell how many yards they were getting because of depth perception. when teams are in that endzone they are the ****. if your a memrobilia junkie like me you can scream to the players at the end of the game and they give you gloves, towels, wrist bands, etc. my friend got a barry sanders towel back in the day. i got frank gores gloves and schiancoe's gloves. pretty cool

I sat in the plaza end zone twice last year. Once for the Carolina game, and again for the NFC Championship game.
Definitely not my favorite area to sit in, but better than not going to the game. When they were down at our end of the field, it was great, but other than than, spent a lot of time trying to watch the small t.v.'s that were mounted over head. Couldn't see the big screen where we we sitting.

I have sat in both end zones and thought both were great. I had no problem with the net. It is only up during kicks.

Personally I hate sitting by the endzone area. If they're not scoring, you can't see jack crap. The atmosphere is great, but I rather watch the game at home where I can actually see what the hell is going on every play.

Thanks bro that is pretty cool, I am on the very top row of the ground level, so it looks like I am high enough to see the formations and the plays develop when they are on the other side of the feild, but close enough to give a shout out. I was about to give my tickets to my neighbor who is a falcons fan, Im glad I didnt.

Here is where I am.

I think the best seats are in the padded seats in the Terrace.

Plaza - One person stands up, everybody has to stand up.
Lodge - Pretty far away from the field and expensive.
Padded Terrace 500 - Less expensive, higher up and closer to the field the the Lodge.
You have to sit in the top row of the padded seats to get the damn black bar out the way.

Put me the 500s any time between the 20-20s.

As far as the Plaza End Zone, I'm not a big fan. Still, you can watch the game on the big screen when their on the other end.

its good hell-raising seating, if you like being part of a loud mob, especially when the play is on your side of the field. but you dont have much perspective on who is where, especially if you sit low. Its fun, its just hard to see really what is going on. You figure it out pretty quick. Also, I think they have tv's, which should tell you something.

Now if you get up one level, it's badazz. Youre right on top of it, and you can call the game.

Yup! Love those seats. Rockin' crowd and on top of the action. We were in the first row just above the scoreboard at the banner raising just above us against Minny. We were beating on the metal scoreboard's top to make noise. It worked great.

As a few have said, the perspective is tough. I guy looks like he is running for 7-8 yards and then the PA says gain of one.

I was in 101 for the opener against Seattle 5-6 years ago. Alexander ran wild
