Season has different feel for New Orleans Saints
1 Attachment(s)
By this time, Sean Payton's football team had pretty much sewed up a No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
And now? Well, anything seems possible. The 10-3 New Orleans Saints can win out, finish 13-3, and still wind up no better than a No. 5 seed going into the postseason. They could finish 11-5 and miss the playoffs, which only two teams have done. I don't know about you, but it doesn't seem like our heroes have won six in a row by handing the St. Louis Rams a 31-13 whipping at the Superdome, marking the fifth straight time they've scored at least 30 points. But that's what the record says. Season has different feel for New Orleans Saints | NOLA.com |
