Correct!
So if the Saints are #5, then they beat #4 on the road, wild card round. THe #6 wild card also has to beat the #3 on the road. Then the next week, let's say the Saints beat the #1 on the road, and the worst wild card also beats the #2 in their divisional round game.
Reversed. If the Saints are #5 and the #6 wins too, then the #6 goes to #1 and the #5 goes to #2.

Then the saints would be #5, the other team would still be #6, so the Saints would host the championship game. That's the only way it possibly goes back to the Dome, I'm pretty sure of it.
That is correct. That's the only scenario where the #5 WC team hosts a game. The #6 cannot host a game under any circumstance.
