Missed tackles in Baltimore
It is very difficult to tackle in those conditions especially if you are a dome team. We are not built to play in the cold and bad conditions. Every body who has played in the freezing snow knows that your arms are numb and you have no feeling. It is really difficult to wrap up and tackle in the cold conditions. I think that Baltimore has been through those tough winters and the team was better conditioned for the elements and it paid off. What do you think?

the tackling was non saint like. the first guy always wrapped up while the rest gashed at the ball for fumbles. all we did sun. was gash at the ball.

I personally don't think the weather had anything to do with tackling (or lack thereof). Once the blood gets flowing you mean to tell me that the cold is going to have that much of an affect on their arms, and is what caused our D to not tackle? NO WAY!!

the fingers do get cold but the arms and body are just fine. we just did'nt cover gap, lining up wrong on some plays cost us some long third down plays. it was not a good game coaching or playing.the d-backs were blocked or tied up just long enough for rice to be in the secondary and piling up big yardage. that 1 td to rice may have changed the game if flaco not perfect on throw. shanle got burnt along with the safety.

Linemen love freezing weather. They couldn't tackle either. Also, the Ravens D seemed to tackle just fine so I'd say it was that we got out coached and out played.

however all he did was put one arm out, lacked any effort and he just thought "okay plays over," hes gotta go. |

Mitchell was in one 1 play and looked slower than Shanle. Too bad Arnoux didn't work out.
