The Luck stops Monday!

God willing we slam the Failcons and expose their weaknesses this Monday before they reach the post season, They wont show their hand against Carolina but they will show everything they got against us, when we beat the hell out of them this will give a blue print to how other teams should finish them off.. Not that they will need it.. Matt Ryan doesn't have Post season experience, "THIS SAINTS TEAM" knows how to not only win in the post season but know how to win it all, i believe if Failcons have to go through us to get to the SB i think they will easily hand it right to us and have us dancing walking over their faces to the Conference Championship game..

Your going where the Ref's can't help ya out anymore baaybe.
Them push-offs, holds, and PI's will be called and will cost your team.

Funny how you guys talk about luck when it can be said you got your fair share last year. Thanksgiving game this year too. BTW, Ryan does have a postseason game under his belt from his rookie year. :)

Our punter has more playoff experience than Ryan.

I'll give you this:

Atlanta has a more complete team than ever. They're healthy and they don't make many mistakes.

Now, let's see how they handle pressure. :bng:

One thing is we dont have to beat you guys to win the division. Dont know if that helps alleviate any pressure for the team in their minds. Its more of a statement game, or "icing on the cake" for us if we do. But with the NFL world watching it would be nice to get the W. Like Ric Flair used to say "To be the man, you gotta beat the man" (Whooooo)

I wouldnt say we do "what you guys did" last year because we have a balanced offense. But we are getting the turnovers, so if thats what you meant I guess I agree in part. Run the ball, control the clock, and keep mistakes to a mimimum? Yeah. Seems to work so far.

Fixed that for ya. :bng:

Would be funny if you guys get knocked down by Carolina after we put up a W against you at home and send people scratching their heads lol.

It's coming.

Either way a quick post-season out is on it's way for ya'll.. You have Saints, Eagles and Chicago which are all very dangerous teams and all very capable of ruining some dreams for many in Atlanta.

1. your aviator makes sense, just like a failclown to eat his own foot.

2. What lucky breaks? Our guys forced the T.O's, and when we get lucky we admit it. We all know we got lucky with the Redskin game, missing the FG, what other luck are you speaking of? We never won a game by an incomplete pass last year.

breesfan27 12-23-2010 04:30 PM

Here's the thing, the Carolina game won't be an easy feat for the Failclowns. Those guys have nothing to lose, they're all playing for their jobs. I don't expect them to just lay down and give Atlanta the win.

Hmm.. Seeing that Saints Dominated the teams many thought we would have a hard time against, Falcons can't touch that season this year..
Every game Falcons scored high and dominated this season you were at least expected to at least win in a close game.

Here's our win's against "HARD TEAMS" last year (I included division games because they are hard even if the team isn't all that good that particular season..
Compared to your Win's this season:
Saints Superbowl winning season dominating wins:

at Philadelphia Eagles W 48–22
New York Jets W 24–10
New York Giants W 48–27
at Miami Dolphins W 46–34
Atlanta Falcons W 35–27
New England Patriots W 38–17

And of course:
New Orleans Saints AND Indianapolis Colts
(NFC) (AFC) 31 17

Now compare:

Non were hard teams so i just posted the highest scoring games.

Falcons 2010 Dominating wins:
Arizona Cardinals W 41–7
at Cleveland Browns W 20–10
at St. Louis Rams W 34–17
at Carolina Panthers W 31–10

Umm.. SB Caliber? lol

It would be even funnier if you lost to us and the Bucs and you missed the playoffs all together

pherein 12-23-2010 04:43 PM

One of the many reasons we want to repeat a Super Bowl is so the Falcons don't make it, and ultimately embarrass the NFC South.

Thats ok we'll still have our fresh on the mind Superbowl memories while you guys get walked over by a deserving team.

Thats what im saying, a lot of Falcon Fans don't understand...

I DON'T CARE IF SAINTS DON'T GO TO THE SUPERBOWL THIS SEASON!
As long as you don't go that is all im worried about lmao!! If we go again i'll be ecstatic but if Falcon's don't go thats just as satisfying now that we have that baby draped down in the Superdome...

That would truly suck. To lose to an over-rated Atlanta team and the rebuilding Bucs? We'd deserve all the smack we'd get.

But meh... if that were the case we probably wouldn't go very far in the playoffs anyway so no biggie really.

But watching the over-rated Falcons and their trailer park fans go from the #1 seed to #5 seed in two weeks would be priceless. At least you wouldn't have to play in the half full Georgia Dump though, so their is a silver lining for you Falcon fans.

Belair57 12-23-2010 05:02 PM

What do Matt Ryan and the Octomom have in common??? theyve both had eight fingers in em

pherein 12-23-2010 05:04 PM

yep Saintwrath, can you imagine ? That would be the least watched SB ever, I dont know a teams fans the failclown fans haven't rubbed the wrong way, and I have a hard time thinking of an AFC team that wouldn't embarrass them and our division, even the colts with all of their injuries. It would be a shameful spectacle.

Luck has a lot to do with with being at the right place, at the right time. Skill comes into play by being able to take advantage of it.

Choupique 12-24-2010 05:03 AM

You make your own luck has been my experience unless of course you're a voudou practitioner.

Luck is for those who try their best and come in second place.

Rather be lucky than skilled? I'd rather be skilled than guessing about a wing and a prayer in Atlanta. The Dirty Bird flash in the pan comes to an end Monday night in front of a natty audience.

Wipe your butt, Matty Ice the dingleberry boy.

BTW, Only a douche would use a nickname like that. I bet he listens to Duran Duran and the BeeGees.

Two dat.

hitta 12-24-2010 05:24 AM

I think the Falcons are lucky because of their playstyle. They sit back for the other team to make a mistake without making a mistake themselves. I don't think thats gonna matter much Monday because the score is going to be lopsided to an extent where they can't wait for a mistake.

Yeah... Michael Turner reminds me of Mike Alstott... big dude who puts up good numbers, but fairly one-dimensional as a runner. And Matty Ice will melt when we do a Favre on him and knock him on blitzes first 20 plays. They play a very simplistic game, and while it's worked for them so far, we're the defending champs for a reason.
