Clearly this kid is going to be awesome. I just wanted to point out that the first nine games he had 8 catches, and I think one td. I believe he has 3 td's and 21 catches the last 6.

Totally Agree, been high on this kid since i first saw some tape of him from college and Training camp.
As you pointed out 21 catches 3 TD's in the last 6 games, Coach Payton and Drew are calling his number alot more, they understand hes going to be a big part of the offense. The guy is a rookie, and i mentioned last week that it looks as though (if not now, very soon) that he can take over from shockey as the starter.

It is very clear that the job is his...he is still in the grooming phase but he has talent. The playoffs will go a long way in helping him to mature. I for one am glad he chose football over basketball.

He will be a stud. I'd be surprised if Shockey is still the starter next year, glad he got a ring before getting replaced.

I think Shockey is still on the team next year. It does make it extremely hard for Dave Thomas to get on the field. Still, I see us keeping 3 TEs next year.

I said it earlier before... think Jermichael Finley. If given enough targets, this kid can become a monster.

Eagles have a real hard time covering te's, if we play them I'd feed the kid early and often

**** if we can afford to (don't see why we can't) why not keep him, shock, and thomas next year. Just that much better and that much more solid if there is an injury

Thomas plays FB in a pinch also.

Jimmy is developing into a nice talent. As he gains more experience he will understand his routes better, read the holes in zones and his hands will get better (he's a bit shaky with the catch still). His size is an ultimate weapon.

Shockey can still be very effective blocking and seldom drops a ball he can touch. No reason to see him leave.

Thomas does it all good and nothing great. The perfect depth player. He is a must keep as well.

We have probably the best TE group in the game right now.

he's already a monster...he's going to be unstoppable when he reaches his full potential. he's a physical freak...he could be the best ever; just saying.

Yea I think we keep all three tight ends next year.Seeing as how David Thomas can play fullback,I think Evans is the one who won't be back next year.It seems to me that Evans has all but disappeared this year.It's a shame to seeing as how he is one of the best fullbacks in the game.

Imagine Jimmy Graham in at fullback for one play like David Thomas does, its been said that Graham was penalized playing basketball a hell of a lot, i think he would blow somebody up back there lmao
