Yeah that Mr Magic. Now he's a great Saints fan. Really a Falclown Fan

Please explain... A guy that makes a compelling thorough documentary - watched by millions - about our beloved city - of which the saints rise to the superbowl is no small part - are you kidding me? or is there something I am not getting here?

exiled 01-02-2011 02:49 AM

Happy Fella? Anyone?

Its funny how his first year he was pretty good and we thought - OK its kind of fun to have a guy with a goofy name - but the second - holy cow... all you hartley haters want to hate a kicker...
sheeze... I love Hartley.

AB and Jm where good for a lil bit. I mean they got us to the playoffs. There so many bad players and coaches in Saints history, anyone can pick a lame duck. I have to say Jason David, but I think the later years of Fred Thomas still hurts.

Yeah, I can't knock AB. The happiness I felt that day wasn't equaled until we kicked our way into the SB.

"Bobbay" Bobby Hebert from Cut Off,LA went there after his so-so performance as qb for Saints.

Bobby, Aaron, Johnn Forucade, Richard Todd, take your pick.
So-so. Average.

Wampuscat 01-03-2011 07:13 AM

Albert Connell, he was a thief in the locker room. POS !

Choupique 01-03-2011 07:20 AM

Poop tends to always smell like poop.

I'd say they are all equally bad. I try to focus on the good stuff, however.
That was hard for decades.

Seasoned veteran fans hang in there through the thick and thin.

I didn't like Ditka long before he came to New Orleans.
I've seen him in person. He is an assshole. No debate.

cajun911 01-03-2011 12:58 PM

I voted for Ditka/Williams because that whole thing was just embarrassing. Do you remember the cover of Sports Illustrated with Ricky Williams dressed as a bride and Ditka as the groom. That still makes me cringe. Aaron Brooks is a close second though.

I'd vote for FF but he isn't on the list. Ohhh, wait, I misread the title. I thought it read "Most Hated Saints FAN Ever". My bad.

You're the only one that voted for Russell Erxleben/Bum Phillips. LOL

albert mcconel or sullivan

Joe Horn is up there for me too.

In his last game played against the Falcons as a Saint he found Roddy White and said that he wanted to play for the Falcons with him. He and Roddy White are boys. No wonder the split between him and the Saints was so ugly.

CashAndFlash 01-04-2011 11:52 AM

Joe Horn... great receiver, ****ty person.

darstep 01-04-2011 12:04 PM

Jason David! and anybody that's mentioned with him. Just a terrible cover guy...just flat foot, shoestring tied TERRIBLE. Good sure run tackler though. Add Fred Thomas to the JD selection. They were head and tails - equally as bad. I love those guys...I just hated their football.

I voted JD since we really had the potential to be very good while he was with us. He really dragged the team down.

Yea... the reason I didn't put Fred Thomas in the mix was because he had some servicable years and he just got too old and banged up to play CB at the NFL level. :bng:

papz 01-04-2011 01:20 PM

All I see is Jason David... how horrifying.

How come there is more than one person listed for each choice?

Because many of these people are married together and the sucked together.

SaintPauly 01-04-2011 05:55 PM

While the Ditka debacle was absolutely horrendous, I had to go with Haslett/Brooks. Mainly because of Brooks. He would have games in his hands, and just make the biggest bonehead decision he possibly could to give it away. And Haslett, because he refused to make the change.

neugey 01-04-2011 09:39 PM

I had to vote for Venturi/Gibbs. Because Zook and Gregg Williams are so much better.

Carl Smith - gotta defend him and I had season tickets during the Dome Patrol days...

why? recently Bobby Hebert, on one of his radio rants, stated that Mora didn't trust players nor coaches and Mora had Carl Smith call conservative games so the Saints would "play not to lose" as opposed to win games...

Aaron Brooks - amazing talent, but didn't have any passion for the game; however, very nice, gracious man when I met him...

Toi Cook - amazing ego, second only to Alonzo "Master-of-Everything" Hill; Toi must be esperanza for toast - no one gave up more back breaking plays for that great Saints Dome Patrol than Toi Cook...

Jim Haslett - his expressions revealed a lower intelligence and when he remarked during his press conferences, he removed all doubt...

...plus Haslett let Laroi Glover leave...

Steve Walsh...my mother had a stronger arm, but again Mora wanted him when Jimmy Johnson wanted to trade us Troy Aikman...

Mike Ditka and Ricky Williams; trade all your picks for one guy and then geaux play golf; at least Ditka left alot of good lineman when he left for Haslett to let geaux...

But the Saints became respectable under Mora, even if they couldn't win the big games, they were winning more than every before, so...

Toi Cook geauxing to the 49'ers after giving up all those plays, well...he tops my list...
