Actually I don't think the Panthers mailed it in. They were still trying to score at the end and they did finally make it into the end zone. Here are the Panthers' main problems:
1. No quarterback 2. Only one good receiver 3. No Julius Peppers which left a huge void at defense. It's no wonder the Bears' defense has done so well this year and the Panthers' defense has struggled so mightily. Unfortunately for the Panthers (and fortunately for the Saints), they will be in the wilderness for a long time now. It could take up to three years to fully rebuild this team and make it a playoff-caliber ball club. |
