#Saints injury report: M.Jenkins (knee); A.Hargrove (knee); J.Graham (ankle); D.Clark, did not practice #Saints injury report: TEs Jeremy Shockey & David Thomas, along with WR Marques Coslton all fully participated in practice http://blackandgold.com/images/smilies/smile.gif http://twitter.com/wwltvsports Just announced matt hasselbeck will start at qb vs saints on saturday. Payton said he's not surprised that Hasselbeck will start for Seattle. Said the QB can call on his experience in the postseason. jeffduncantp Payton said the team will conduct a walk-through tomorrow either at Qwest Field or the U. of Washington. Payton said Malcolm Jenkins' condition has improved and added that there is no structural damage to his knee. It's a knee cap injury. Payton on the long trip to Seattle & playing on a Saturday "We think we travel pretty well. We have gotten use to some oddball schedules." Payton on his TEs: "In the case of both Dave and Jeremy, their week has gone well. And Jimmy (Graham) is feeling much better." Payton on Graham: " News with Jimmy has been good in that a day and a half, he’s feeling a lot better than he was earlier in the week..." Official_Saints: Coach Payton said all the players that did not practice today will travel to Seattle. |
Looks like we will have enough players to handle Seattle. The problem is if we lose 3 players a game,
will we have enough players to beat the Patroits? Payton said that "Shockey's groin was full." Maybe he should go to the bathroom. http://uploads.neatorama.com/wp-cont...ad-400x300.gif So you're saying there's a chance! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0JjK2c-5-N.../a_chance.jpeg |
what does M. Jenkins having no structural damage, but a kneecap injury mean?

He will more than likely suit up for the game and be ready but Sharper will play. That way, he'll be ready for next week. I'm encouraged about Graham's injury not being serious since Shockey can seem to say healthy. |
Freeney was supose to be really hurt in the SB but he looked fine to me. Unless they are on IR you can assume nothing. Maybe Jenkins isn't that bad, who knows. With comments like "day to day" and they "looked better" all the time it's basically saying I'm not telling.
I'm surprised Seattle stated Hasselbeck is starting. Did they have to do that? |
Bring it on! Saints gonna do this thing!
|
I have to say, I'm kind of glad Hasslebeck is starting. He's more of a known quantity than Whitehurst. Having said that, I hope the Saints sack him like 15 times.
|
I'm on the 49.5, BABY, the 49.5. Behind the Seahawks and about 10 rows back. I'll be giving them a ration of shat!
Look for: QUIET PLEASE! REPEAT IN PROGRESS Alaska |
How much did you pay for the seat Alaska? I'm looking at $140 for the 35 yard line.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune considers FS Malcolm Jenkins (knee) and TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) "long shots" for Saturday's game at Seattle.
Neither player practiced before the Saints left for Seattle Thursday night. Along with Chris Ivory, both players were injured in a costly Week 17 loss to the Bucs. Veteran playmaker Darren Sharper will pick up extra snaps as the starter at free safety. Jeremy Shockey and David Thomas will to the same at tight end. Source: New Orleans Times-Picayune |
