Here's a prediction: Seahawks will beat Saints

Xan, I thought this was going to be your post. When they lose I am writing this human Douche. We will have to come out and get up early- if tat happens, Hawks pack it in and are just glad they made it. If we let them hang in there- this could be a bumpy ride.

I don't think all of his reasons are crazy-but I think some of them go for the Saints as well. Everyone is saying they're not the same team and that they can't repeat. We have some motivations as well.

There's only 2 ways the Hawks can beat us.

1. Turnovers
2. Special teams

The only way we lose is if the same pathology as the losses to AZ and CLE occur. It will take falling asleep at key moments, inexcusable turnovers and penalties galore to make this a game. Hell, the two INT's Brees threw were inside the Seahags 5, it would have been a minimum 21 point game otherwise. The home team has to play turnover free, have a clock chewing mentality and keep the Saints from scoring TDs. They may be able to get the first two, but not the third.

Our CB's will be playing press/inside coverage, there will be run blitzes and edge contain, and the Seahawks' only hope is to screen and dink their way into fg position. 4 fgs will only have them lose by 12.

Now, I am not doubting our team...However, he does make some good points. The seahawks can throw caution to the wind and pull every trick out of the bag at us. I for one, fully expect that to happen.

Just the motivation of everyone outside of Oregon thinking the seahawks are going to get the hell beat out of them is a very dangerous motivational tool for the seahawk players.

couldn't stomach the whole article, but the part about margin of loss caught my eye: they lost 9 games, and the CLOSEST game was 15 points. Unbelievable.

I also really like the point that they will win because everyone thinks they will lose. What is this, a Disney movie?

The Fish Eagles have a horrible defense, especially pass defense. I know the Saints could lose, I'm not questioning that fact but shutting down Brees and co., come on. It's going to take luck and serious miscues on the Saints part. If the Saints lose it won't be because Seattle's defense suddenly turned into the Hulk overnight.

I've got one reason why this guy should shut the hell up, because he's a DUMBARSE!

The one thing that really racks me off is how all the "experts" don't give the Seahawks any kind of chance whatsoever. I have checked out the reports, watched all the NFL videos on how the Saints can't lose etc. etc. This sort of thing will only fire up the Seahawks even more. I just hope the Saints go in with the right attitude and play the game as they know they should. We had a few games in the reg season that were supposed to be really "easy" for us and looked what happened there! Plus we still have to win this game with a lot of players injured!

Anyway, I will be cheering them on, thats for sure!

I think the people in Oregon are probably more concerned about Auburn. The people in Washington, on the other hand, will probably tell you that the Seahawks will win, but if you held a gun to their head, hooked them to a polygraph and promised to pull the trigger if they lied...they'd probably change their mind.

I am tired and tried to read through those 12 reason. I stopped by number 12.

Saints can do this . It is doable.They just have to put their minds to it.Just do it as the sayoing goes.

This is one of those times when I hate to have been right, but there you go, I said the Seahawks would be fired up for this game and now we are out and the Hawks move on. I just knew they would want it more and so it proved to be. Well played Seahawks, hope you do well!
