Replay
Hey did anyone look at the replay of the game Tuesday. It took alot for me to look at it but I push threw it and I watch it with out dranking and look at every play and the replays. Harper looked really bad in the first half he had at least 6 plays were he got burnt or he missed tackles I love the guy but he has to do better. The second half we did much better the D stop them most of the half except for the big run. I believe Payton made some bad calls in the second half trying to get back in the game but all blame don't go to him we drop a couple of balls and if we could have caught the ball who knows what would have happen and we couldn't tackle for s*&t. All I'm saying is we should have won that game but it want stop me for being a big Saints fan and backing them we need to make some changes on D and sign alot of our guys back and maybe sign a couple big free agents and we will be back on top next year.

I still have it dvr'ed, but can't bring myself to re-watch it just yet! Harper got burnt all over the field in the first half. It was painful enough to watch it in real time! They definitely have some work to do in the offseason, but the cracks in the wall are apparent. Time to draft smart and time for the guys to not get lazy, but to work on improving themselves.

i will never rewatch that game. the thought of it makes me so mad

It took me all of 3 seconds to hit the "delete" key on my DVR. I also blocked out NFLN for about 2 days. Glad you could watch Luda and thanks for the summary. We definitely could have won that game but alas we couldn't tackle anything on that field.
On to next year! (I enjoyed not having to say this last year) |

I feel the same way. I usually get over losses relatively quickly, but every time I think about this one, it makes me sick to my stomach! |
I can't watch the replays of the Saints Loses. I'd be better off just whoopin myself with a cane pole.

Don't say that or Foreverfan will show up to your house in S&M gear. http://mybondageblog.com/img/ballgagedcat.jpg |

Why would anyone want to watch a replay of our D getting beat all over the field? Not me, I'll pass.
|
I can't even bring myself to watch anymore of the ongoing playoffs yet much less the Seattle loss! I'll keep it on my DVR and probably cue it up a week or two before the draft to help remind myself of what THE TEAM needs to address.
|
Damn I thought I had it bad but look at you guys respond back I don't feel to bad. It took alot for me to watch it but like i said we kept fighting it's not like we laid down and gave up.

It wasn't so much Harper got burnt but the fact he just blew his assignments.
All through out the season you can see his age catching up with him. Welcome to retirement. Also I think we should have a rule on this forum... NO ONE ALLOWED TO QUESTION PAYTON"S CALLS for at least 2 years. No one in their right mind calls an onside kick to start a half in the freakin' SB. Reverses in the red zone. His mind doesn't work like most people so he gets a pass for that at least. Anyone who questions Paytons play calls loses credibility in my opinion |
Extremely painful DVR experience. I actually had to stop it and sit quietly a few times to gather myself up, then I'd start watching again.
What was most painful was the first quarter, you know why? BECAUSE WE WERE RUNNING ON ALL CYLINDERS AND HAD IT WON. First drive near flawless, then Hartley bangs a perfect center kick. 'Hawks get the ball and BAAM, a Greer I N T that had Saints defense written all over it. Second drive. Flawless. Touchdown. I was there but about half drunk from partying with Saints fans I had never seen before in my life who all came together like a freakin' family reunion right in the heart of Seattle and only blocks from the game in which we were about to advance to the second round of the playoffs as soon as we do away with this sorry-ass team with a losing record! I remember turning to a 'Hawks fan with his hands on his head after our second touchdown and I said plolitely, "Sorry, bro, but the Saints are in town." He later made me feel absolutely like crying as the second half imploded. The look on Jones' face as he temper-stormed back to the sideline after his second KEY fumble in TWO WEEKS... I probably took a full year off my life for watching that again. Don't do it if you haven't done it. AlaskaSaints! |
Yea I cant put myself through that agony again. Hasledick throwing up prayers and guys catching them. Disgusting.
|
Can't watch it. I ca't wathc the Defense collaspe like they did.
|
This was the only loss I've re-watched all season. It hurts more now than ever. The most disturbing thing besides Harper, is watching all the points we left on the field. We can't settle for FG's 3 times inside the five yard-line. That's 12 points plus the failed 2 point conversion. The Falcons have to lose soon or I'm gonna drink myself to death.
|
Can't watch it without a better medical insurance policy. You know what the freaking cost of Psychotherapy is today. Watching that game again would be like purposely driving drunk through a DUI roadblock.

What the hell is wrong with you!? Don't you know you're not supposed to point out how THEY won it but how WE lost it!!! LOL! But I got your back... Hasselbeck played way above his ability. Just this one time. LOL ...as winter drags on up here... Good to see some of you down in the lower 49 are getting some also! Something to be said for 4 seasons, you know! AKSaints |
