Our ring has to be eating them even more with that choke job. Just when they think they had a hope....

Saints fans were saying the same thing that Mike Singletary were saying about the Falcons' run for the Super Bowl.....

"CAN'T DO IT!!"

SaintPauly 01-17-2011 04:07 PM

I love how these douchebag Falcon fans keep saying, "Why do ya'll keep bringing up the past? That was last year! Ya'll are the only one's that care about that anymore!".... Yeah, kind of how, up until our SB win last year, you guys lived in the past, saying, "At least we've BEEN to a superbowl in 99!" The "aint's" have never even won an NFCC!" Guess what Atlanta, we have a ring, you don't, and now, now, your franchise has taken on all of the smack, that used to be reserved for us... Enjoy it! Matty Ice hasn't won ONE PLAY OFF GAME!!!! But he is the face of the NFL.... Kind of reminds me of Carson Palmer, when he first came into the league.

Here's a comment from the article, typical Atlanta fan:

"I thought we had a good team, but I guess we just suck.
The better team won tonight.
If the better team would have won this entire season, we would have been 0-16."

LMAO!

Love that article. Really love how there are 35 PAGES of comments, most agreeing:) I watched Atlanta regular season wins over the Ravens, Packers, Bucs, 49ers, Bengals, and of course us. In all of those games but one, the other team completely gave the game away. In the one - Ravens - the refs games the game to Atlanta! So knew there were on shaky ground. Their season reminded me a lot of the Panthers 2008 season. Back then, Carolina had 6 wins by 10 points or less, this year Atlanta had 8! And that "good teams win close games" only applies to when the other team is good too! You shouldn't be squeaking out against sub .500 teams more than 2 times a year. In college football, your ranking drops for that!

The refs gave them the Green Bay game too. I'm surprised more people weren't calling them out. Instead it seemed to be the opposite with all the "Improved defense" and "Matt Ryan is elite" nonsense.

They got their just due in the end though. How sweet it 'tis!

The comments under the article are just the cherry on top of a whipped cream article...hehe

An average team that benefited from uncommon luck and poor officiating. I don't think they had one major injury all season and the blatant push offs, even ESPN started laughing. A season with no injuries only comes around once a decade. If you can't make a run with those circumstances then odds are you won't even come close if you lose a few players.
