What is helping me cope with the loss...
 

im still not over the loss yet...im actually still pouting about it. but what is helping me get over the loss is the fact that we can add free agents. last year since we finished in the top 4 we couldnt add free agents. at least this year we will have a shot at the first wave of signings rather than scraping the bottom of the barrel.

We can't sign anyone until the CBA has been finalized. And, I'm not positive, but I don't think that "final eight rule" applies this off-season season.

Can you imagine a year with out football I believe I will start doing crack.

I can't see it happening. There is way too much to lose. Although, it may take awhile to get it pounded out. It may be June or July until it is finished.

The difference this year is that there has to be a new deal or some sort of deal for them to continue to play the next year in order for last years rules to apply or any rules to apply.

Its football. You take the loss and you move on. I am not going to let it ruin my day. You know there use to be a time the idea of making the playoffs was a fantasy.
