I would think a loop-hole most likely appears if the corporation you work for is incorporated Texas and your principal residence is Texas. It has been several years since I studied tax law, but there is probably a very defensible precedent.
I read elsewhere that since the check is cut in Louisiana, it counts as Louisiana income. Not sure if thats correct, but its what I read.
