Labor Talks in a Nutshell-- What Do You Know?

Help me out here, you bunch of Mickey Loomis'es. I cant think of a better place to get answers to my questions.

So the league and the players are negotiating a collective bargaining agreement, and right now, nobody knows when they'll reach a deal, or what the results will be. But a lot of things are known, just not by me.

-- Are they still doing the scouting combine?
-- How does this affect the Draft?
-- My season tix: Im guessing if they dont play a game, they'll put it in our account, for next season?
-- Will the schedule go out at its regular time?

-- and what are we fans going to do? organize our own union?

its going to be rough for the everyday joe in the nfl sisterhood. there not making much or have much saved up for the raininy days. filing for unemployment will make there day im sure while some will if there allowed to find employment elsewhere. i feel bad for a lot of them.

Yes if a lock out happens the Draft will happen as normal.

What about workouts? Can they workout?

I hope they go to scabs in this time of hardship. I will become the new starting left tackle for the new orleans saints...LOL I can see it now " Introducing...your starting left tackle , for your New Orleans Saints...out of ArmchairQB community college...BEEEELLLLLAAAIIRRRRR".. crowd goes wild as I run out and trip on my own feet

"At Linebacker, at 210 lbs, from Lee Jr. College, Baytown, TX, SKYYYYYYYYYYYY MIIIIIIIIIIKE!"

would you believe I returned PUNTS in high school?

I don't know what's going to happen. I do know one thing though...I promised my little girl a Saints game next season, so they better get off their collective bargaining asses and come to an agreement!

NO work outs or practices at least at training facilities. That would be like going to work and not getting paid for it.

Players can do what they want on their own dime and time.

OHH NOO dude, your going to have to play QB. We need some leadership while Drew is gone. Sorry , but I dont care if you cant throw a beach ball. Im not blocking the blindside for anyone else . LOL

They will have the combine and the draft but any organized team activities will not happen. As far as your Tix I think you'll get a refund for this year and get first dibs on next season at which point you could probably apply the refund to the tix next year.

The scabs from the 80's, as much as I hate to say it, it was entertainment watching guys that were school teachers go on to become pro bowlers. I hope they come to an agreement but either way, I think the fans won't suffer. I still don't see why they can't meet in the middle.

It was! I really enjoyed seeing those hungry, still-talented guys, who just didnt get the break for one reason or another-- they were players, and if you remember, some of them stuck. Fourcade for us. Eugene Seale for the Oilers. great stories! It didnt hurt that our replacement team went 2-1.

I wish I was home, I have been in Seattle, San Fran, and Albuquerque for the past 9 years.. The only time I come home is for an occasional home game. Maybe I will drive it down next time I come!!!. We are building a new Belair for the family right now, it will turn some headswhen we are done. We just finished building a rotisserie to turn this one upside down and finish the bottom
