And who ever heard of somebody who never heard of Dr. Jim Kovach? Kovach was a damn good LB, whether this banana-yank ever heard of him or not. If youre a LB, and Bum keeps you around for years, you're doing something right. -- Dr. Jim was part of the D that held Walter Payton to something like 11 yards in the 1st half of a game where he was supposed to break Jim Brown's record in the first 2 minutes. Took him till after the half, as the Saints fought hard, and made them work for it. Even before Swilling, Sam, and Meat, we used to have some Defenses. |
