I live in the area and we start on the Friday night before Mardi Gras and do all the Super Crews.
Friday Night - Crew D'Etat & Hermes Saturday - Endymion Sunday - Bacchus Monday - Orpheous These are the best parades. Mardi Gras we stay home because we need a day of rest. Arthur Hardy's Official Mardi Gras Guide
