for what its worth, heard on sirius radio today that Pat Kerwin and Tim Ryan both believe a deal will be in place by April 6. do they know something we don't or they just guessing? i'm jumping on board.

April 6 is the date for the hearing on the antitrust lawsuit filed by the players. I'm sure that's why they singled out that date.

I just read an article on Rotoworld that there will be no deal by April 6th. I guess you can't believe anyone right now.

If deal is done by April 6th I will personally drive down to Louisiana and deliver you a pizza.

Both sides WILL wait until federal judge Nelson makes her ruling on the situation.

I would expect a deal to get done after that ruling comes down; not before.

i just don't want to win a superbowl with an asterisk. ahhh after further review i'll take it any way we can. just say BS to a strike.

Hey got family/friends over in Houston; how are the crawfish?

Are they trucking them in from Belle River and the Spill Way are getting them from Western LA/SE Texas?

JP, they're small right now.
There's a massive marsh/swamp about 30 min east of Houston where the Trinity River delta's into Galveston Bay. The town of Anahuac is called the "Gator Capital of Texas," and I guarantee it has as many gators as Lafouche Parish. Its pretty much the same kind of land all the way East to the Sabine River. Everybody here has a Cajun neighbor.

Anyway, my backwoods friend and I will on Lost River be putting out traps soon, catching catfish, and shooting snakes -- and we'll have mudbugs out the wazzoo.

Also, Everything between Lafayette and Winnie Texas is a rice farm, and you know the rice farmers smartly are putting out crawfish traps when their fields are flooded. I think thats where the commercially raised bugs are coming from. They were great last year.
