In 2001 the Saints were 7-5 at this point in the season with a big game against they needed to beat to start their push for the playoffs. That team was Tampa Bay, who scored 40 on the Saints that day. In fact, the Saints gave up 160 points in their last 4 games of the 01 season en route to a 7-9 finish. Kind of makes you nervous about the Tampa game huh?
