Dale Carter on IR Out for Season

Saints officals placed veteran cornerback Dale Carter on injured reserve with a strained quadriceps. He started 8 games, made 30 tackles and broke up 2 passes.Carter is scheduled to make a base salary of $2.95 million next season, plus a $1 million roster bonus, and will count nearly $4.5 million against the cap.

I did not hear Kennys show when this was brought up, but read several accounts of it. They all put this information forth. Untill I get a better direct source I would file this as rumor.

Kenny Wilkerson reported on his radio show the Saints staff is also unhappy with Carter saying he creates distractions in the locker room playing cards and starting dice games. Wilkerson belived the IR tags solved a conduct problem as much as injury and doubted Carter would be back next season.
