Reggie Bush on Ingram pick "It's been fun New Orleans"
Bush on Ingram pick: 'It's been fun in NOLA' - Rotoworld.com
https://twitter.com/#!/reggie_bush/s...11091796471808 Bush thinks he won't be back with us. |
Just take less money and play your role. You can't stay healthy and don't produce enough to justify your salary. Don't be a douche.
|
Loomis says the Ingram pick doesn't change how the team feels about Reggie. This makes me sad. :(
|
what does reginal think hes been on the sidelines for 1/2 of career and is only a supburb role player he should not sulk and be honered to remain with champs
|
Reggie sucks. I say let the titty baby go. Thomas has great hands out of the backfield anyway. Why do we need a back for 2 games a year.
|
Money Money Money Money - M O N E Y!
Be nice and give Ingram some of that money. Payton will find a way to give everybody some touches. There's only so much money Loomis has to work with. If Reggie can restrcture, we can still use his services. There is NO place else he can go to be better postioned to succeed than right here in Sean Payton's offense. |
i can see carolina callin already. i hope reggie's not a benidict arnoud

Trade bush for picks sure but we need Bush. Beside does he seriously all of a sudden see himself as a RB... We drafted a DE and a RB
|
If you were the guy we hoped you would be Reggie we wouldn't be drafting a RB. You are who you've proven to be. Now sign for the correct amount of money that reflects the 6 games you play every year, the 2.8 ypc average and the 6 fumbles a season and fill your role. Or move along. Thanks for the memories.

Saints fans on Twitter are going off on Reggie as we speak. I've never seen one player so hated by almost our entire fanbase...
|
Bush will be back, Ingram is just another weapon for our offense! WOW what a draft so far! Im stoked.
|
Let's face it, Reggie is DRUNK LOL
|
He's certainly not 12 mil. I say try and trade him for whatever draft picks they can get. No need to have a ton of money wrapped up into the RB position if they can't come to an agreement on a contract restructure.

I can't say im worried about Reggie Bush being pushed out.. not worried at all.
|
Reggie was talking about the HORNETS.
He was also watching the basketball game he likes the Hornets and a Lakers fan. |
reggie_bush: Congrats to Mark Ingram on being selected to New Orleans. He will be a great addition to the Saints backfield just as he was in Alabama
|
Damn Reggie did you have to?

It will be sad to see Reggie go. Was he ever an every down back? No absolutely not. He was a situational player and a fantastic one at that. But he's had his share of injuries and setbacks and he does have a fumbling issue from time to time.
To be honest though, I'm a little perplexed at the decision to trade two draft picks to get a top-flight, every down type running back, when the Saints won the Super Bowl in magnificent fashion using a 2 or 3 running back rotation the entire season. We already signed Pierre to a four year deal. Chris Ivory was a star on the rise (although we don't know as much about his injuries as Mickey Loomis does). There are still other capable running backs like Lynell Hamilton that are available to us. Personally I felt if we were to trade away two draft picks, we should have grabbed another big-time defensive player (M. Wilkerson, A. Ayers, C. Heyward). I just hope this isn't a step back. It's going to take a while for Ingram to get used to the pace of the NFL - to learn all the different screens, and so forth. Thrilled about Cameron Jordan though! I never ever thought he would have been available. |

I agree with Strato on this one. I think the one that should be worried is PT. Ingram and Bush has a good chance to get back to where Bush and McAllister were. Line 'em up in the backfield at the same time and call it the 'Heisman' formation.
