Why are you in love with Reggie? I'm embarrassed for you. |

Every time a back lines up he's situational. Reggie, if he stays, will be in the regular rotation, what ever that means. Payton will use all of them (Bush, PT, Ingram, Ivory) as he sees fit, and for what ever purpose he is scheming at that moment. I'm invisioning a two back set with Reggie and one of the other three: run/play action/Reg-in-motion...I'll bet there are 20 new pages in the play book, ala Sean Payton. If injuries bite us again, I think we're covered. Reggie will be running as hard as he was during the SB playoff stretch. Even with a restructured 3-4 year deal, his performance will dictate his new trade value. He will once again be playing at the top of his game. Another SB wouldn't look bad on his resume'.

My 86 year old grand mother can do an average job as the Saints Punt returner...
She wasn't drafted #2 over all and will contracted for 11 million. I think I can get her to do it for a mil. The best part about it I don't think she will have a fumble. |
I want to see RB get motivated and have his best season yet. Its up to him really. One thing the saints did do though was plan accordingly. I mean RB and his agent have to be realistic about this, don't they? He doesn't have much leverage, sub par year, and three other backs on the team....

Reggie will shut his mouth, not turn into TO, be the situational player the Saints drafted him to be and help us to another Superbowl.
|
Keep him and convert him to a WR. It couldn't hurt.

If Reggie returns...
I think if he returns, barring major injury, even with a limited a role he will make a solid impact. Most good players have a lull in their career at some point due to injury or just a bad season and often return better than before for a few years. He also would no longer be running up the middle and could concentrate on a smaller percentage of the playbook.

i would be lark happy if he comes close to what he did his rookie year would everyone agree with dat. i just hope we have a season.and all the texting bull that had most in an uproar, he will have his day in field court, see below lol.
if bush returns, which i wish he does there will be plenty of fans including myself that will strutinize him every play he gets close to dashing for the sidelines instead of cutting up field. |
I think he converts to a TE or a WLB.

I like how Basket (a WR) bounces it off his helmet instead of catching it. Its what made that play possible. Any kicker/punter in the league can do what Morstead did. It doesn't mean buring two picks in a four pick draft on the least important position on a football team was wise. Here's some more quality viewing for you...
