Thanks St. Thomas.

Another thing that's been talked about in the media is that Steve Smith wants to go to the Chargers as Chargers have an interest in him.

Chargers may have interest in Panthers' Steve Smith - NFL - Sporting News

With Rivers throwing to Jackson, Smith, and Crayton... that should be a lethal receiving team! Throwing to Gates will add to that as well.

But if this happens, I'm thinking that will probably send Floyd packing.

Thought Jackson could not wait to pack his bags and GTFOOT! Did he not hold out half the year last year?

He did but he agreed to a one year extension.

He picked the wrong time to demand more money. Not when you're facing a four game suspension.

So he's a FA now .... looks like he's a goner as soon as the CBA is done! That's why Smith is under consideration...

No. He signed a one year extension with the Chargers. He will be a FA in 2012.

So he had one year left when he held out, I guess.... or he was restricted when he signed his one year extension ... more like the latter.
Read all of the details here

He's got the franchise tag as a free agent as of today.

I hate it when that happens.
