Tired of cable TV.

Ordered NFL Package and Direct TV so I could get EVERY Saints game this year in the comfort of my living room. Massive flat-screen. Surround Sound.

Just got a call from the installers. I happen to live in a neighborhood that is a BLACK HOLE of satellite reception. NO - CAN - DO

Back to the bar this year... at 7:00 am in order to get a seat.

Major bummer.

f'ing black hole?!?!?!?!?!?!!? Do they have att uverse up there? is satelite you only option? What about streaming the game on a laptop and connecting to the tv?

Devastated. I live in a chalet with 100-foot spruce all around. I recognized it as too-good-to-be-true and it was.

If all the trees were mine, I'd cut them, but they're not.

I guess it's all good - as long as we're having football!

I've had that issue so may times moving to different apartments... I love DirecTV, but it's so hit or miss on whether or not you can actually get it to work.

You don't need to go through all that trouble....

Nope. And therefore, neither does OnStar on a Chevrolet work
everywhere. I know, 'cause my Mama onect locked her keys
in her Silverado at a rest stop in BFE Oklahoma, and I hadda
drive to get her cause I was closer than the nearest tow truck,
and the OnStar satellite didn't work to unlock her doors
for her in BFE.

This happened to me once, but it was because there were too many trees in the way. It was either spend thousands cutting down trees on a property I rented or go cable. Anyway, you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to get NFL network anyway after what they have put us through. I cancelled mine about 2 months into the lockout.

i was in bfe mexico and i caught the game on sirius. it was better than not knowing at all. i sh-t canned them too because of the nfl lockout.

Same here. Last year I was in Puerta Vallarta for the Rams game. I could only listen to it.

i grew up listening to lsu games with my old man because they were rarely on the tube back when. so a saints game every blue moon on radio ain't all bad.

I have to believe that if it is not already out there somewhere...it will be shortly. My brother told me he was getting a TV with wifi...so, I'm thinkin'...why couldn't somebody save it like you do with tivo, and then email it...from your TV? You could keep somebody updated that way.
