Actually what has happened is that what doctors calls sports hernia has been expanded what previously might hav been misdiagnosed as a pulled groin or such now is properly labled a sports hernia and so on.

Makes more sense to me now;I was thinking it had to be something along those lines.Thanks for the info./answer Crú,The sports hernia epidemic has troubled me for some time now!I'll be able to move on with my life now knowing that sports hernias are still.....
