Saints RB Chris Ivory undergoes sports hernia surgery - three weeks rehab
 

It appears as if New Orleans Saints running back Chris Ivory has a case of good luck and bad luck. Already recovering from foot surgery and hoping to be back in time for the start of the season, it was revealed on Friday that he had also undergone sports hernia surgery.
After Friday's indoor practice, Coach Sean Payton announced the surgery and said that it would be about a three-week recovery and rehab time frame. While it wasn't really expected that Ivory would play in the preseason anyway; there is still hope he will be ready for the season opener on September 8, 2011 at Green Bay.
