Name the starting LBs for the Green Bay Game?
 

Im gonna say Ingram..Vilma and Casillas....with Wilson ..Dunbar Shanle..and Herring ..as backups..what do yall think?..Our new D line will make these guys much better...

AJ Hawk, Brady Poppenga and Nick Barnett. And they are going to be in for a long day!

Vilma at MLB
Shanle at SLB

Same as last year, but Shanle won't keep the gig for long. By mid-season Wilson will replace him at the SLB.

Barring injuries of course.

That's my starting 3 also.

I predict the starters will be Sam, Will, and Mike.

And if we start the gamne in a 3-4, Jack will be the 4th starter.

I'm almost certain Shanle will be in there......not happy about it but I just dont see anyone that is going to bump him out of a starting position yet.....

It's meaningless to guess at the starters when Gregg will be switching them in and out, depending on situation/down and distance. I think the only one of them that will be in there full time is Vilma. The rest of our linebackers excell at different things and will be used accordingly.

As of now...Shanle, Vilma, Herring

Wilson won't be quite ready to start at SLB in week one by a long shot. He has way too much to learn yet and had no formal introduction by way of OTA's etc this year to get that jump on it.

Therefore, I believe that Strato had it the closest, from what I have heard so far from camp anyway, with Casillas at WLB, Vilma in the middle, of course, and Clint Ingram (who is performing quite well so far in camp) at SLB.

Shanle is running with the 1's at WLB again this year (his natural position), but I still foresee Casillas beating him out for that spot in the preseason (again).

Hopefully Ingram can last long enough through this preseason to make it as the starter at strong side, but Danny Clark is a fine starter there too, if Ingram falls out before that.

Tez Wilson will make his mark first on special teams and maybe as a rotational pass rushing LB as the season progresses.

Herring is a good rotational guy too and is great as the nickle LB because he can cover well.

I would love it. The more the better.
