Jimmy Graham
Ive been reading that he has been having a horrible camp. dropping pass like crazy... has anyone been to camp and witnessed?
|
Thats what camp is for. Get it all out of your system and practice your butt off.
|
Where did you hear that?
Nola.com was reporting that drew was looking for him constantly and he looked like a beast catching everything thrown his way, so this is a little bit suprising? |
I heard he was tearing it up after the first couple of days in camp. This is the first I've heard of this!I'll still have my #80 jersey soon.
|
No I haven't heard of this, but I get most of my info from y'all. So any truth to the statement??

Here's an article I found:
Graham hot and cold: The Saints love his talent and the mismatches he presents in the red zone for the Saints offense. However, Tight end Jimmy Graham has struggled with drops at times in the camp so far. He’ll make a couple of tough catches and then drop a routine pass. It’s puzzling, but at the same time kind of expected from a guy that hasn’t been playing football very long. Graham was primarily a basketball player until the end of his college career. There are still going to be growing pains with Graham, but for the most part he’ll be a huge weapon in 2011. I just hope he doesn't fall into his own hype and crumble under pressure to produce big time numbers. A lot of people are expecting big big things from him... hopefully all the kinks will be worked out when the season starts.
I think he's going to come close to scoring double digit touchdowns this season. |
i can see 5-7 TDs not anywhere near double digits though
|
Not worried if he do have a drop problem David Thomas can take up his slack.

Check out the avatar. I bought it for him on the condition that he stop whining about Shockey leaving, and never mention that name to me again. Graham is my pick for breakout player of the year! Double digit touchdowns! |
Good deal Rocky! It's an even better deal to put Shockey to rest for him.(Jeremy Who?) I know last year is last year, but he was snagging pretty much everything in his vicinity!
I'll be happy with whatever he brings to the table as long as he doesn't turn into Mr.Butters!!He put on 10 frikkin lbs. of muscle this off-season to absorb the hits when crossing no mans land. He'll be on when we need him or Seans going to give him one of those Garrett Hartley pep talks. Sure worked for him!:bng: I was born in 80' too  Jerome Pathon..nah Jimmy Graham..HELL YEAH! One more thing!I hope Coach told him something about those 360* dunks!Entertaining as hell but cant be good on the lower extremities. Here's to Double Digit Jimmy  |
He's gonna be just fine! Getting the kinks worked out in camp, and ready to kick some NFL bu**!!! I think we have enough "non-prima donnas" on the team to keep him humble. :)

Glad we resigned Thomas...

There's a really nice clip of him in that nola.com video blog entry "Saints Have Looked Sharp In Training Camp so Far" -- you can see him burning #41 old man Harper for a big catch. It's actually kind of troubling, because I think at least 3 of the 4 offensive plays they show in that video, our offense looks dynamite and in almost every play, poor Harper looks reaaalllly slow, you see him getting beat, out of position, falling at people's feet, etc. But Graham looked pretty killer in that one clip. Harper, not so much.

 Strato is that you?J/K What's upSaintsBro
