Harper on TE's you mean? I think they like that LB from Seattle, Will Herring, for his coverage skills as a nickle LB to stick with the final roster for just that purpose. We shall see how well he does pretty soon I reckon! Did you agree with the breakdown, for the most part? Who's your final 53, or is it still too soon to call at a few spots?

Did you happen to hear him talk on the radio to Brian Alle-Walsh earlier today? He hinted at coming back, but only if he doesn't find the perfect fit elsewhere to get back to the Super Bowl and to be "the man" at his position to start and play every defensive down, because he is in such great shape over the offseason. He knows that he would only be a situational player as a backup to Jenkins and Harper and that is the only thing keeping him from signing on the dotted line for the Saints right now. He even talked about how he loves the new additions on the D-line and through the draft.

Darn..well he cant unseat Jenkins thats for sure...wish he would just take the backup spot..

Maybe he will when it comes down to game time. Maybe all he has offers from are teams like the Jaguars, who have no QB and no plan to get to the Big Dance at all yet, huh?

I hope so ..still think he can play.

Well, they haven't given up number 42 to anyone new, so I think they are holding out hope that he will eventually decide that this is where he needs to finish his career in total glory with another couple of Super Bowls in a row before retiring from the game for good.

We shall see soon enough, right?

Im hoping that Buffalo WWs has it.. if not..i will park my truck close to the back deck ..pop a top and listen on WWL...they stream the preseason games in audio to ..i think..there's always live chat here to..

What is Buffalo WWs? Oh, Buffalo Wild Wings, right? Duh! I definitely want to actually see it so I can watch all the new guys and the camp hopefuls play in preseason.

Good article! But you have Oliver as a CB while he played at SS for the Chargers, and as far as I know
that is where he is slotted for the Saints also?

Oh, and I had completely forgotten to mention S DeAndre McDaniel in my first draft of that article, but I have since added him, very deservedly, into the list of competing safeties.

BTW, the spelling of peak was intentional, as in the team peaking early from a depth perspective and I liked the play on words as well. Wondered if anyone would catch it or not...
