yea had a little typo there :)

|Mitch| 08-14-2011 10:24 AM

Hopefully Olin Kruetz will be playing amazing by that point...

Danno 08-14-2011 10:24 AM

If he plays dirty against Brees, I suspect a liitle high-low chop block at the knees will end that crap real damn quick.

alexonfyre 08-14-2011 11:06 AM

Yeah, he can play dirty all he wants to, I believe Mr. Kreutz has probably learned a thing or two about dealing with players like that in his 13 years in the league...not to mention the 2 other pro-bowlers on the line who have got his back as well.

Even against SF he already showed flashes of brilliance... I just remember one play where he was 1-on-1 against a DT, and Kreutz pushed the DT back about 5 yards. :-)

Ashley 08-14-2011 11:19 AM

That's OK we can fight fire with fire, just ask our old buddy=

Boutte 08-14-2011 12:42 PM

We have 4 Pro-Bowlers on the OL. Both guards, center and right tackle. (yes Stinchcomb.)

If he really is a dirty player then I would expect someone to do something to him long before December.

QBREES9 08-14-2011 08:15 PM

Sorry about that I take it one game at a time. My mistake.

saintsfan1976 08-14-2011 08:19 PM

Are we already concerned with a game on Dec 4th?

Agreed. Someone will roll over his legs by "accident"...

44Champs 08-15-2011 07:55 AM

I love his mentality. I wish he played for us.

FinSaint 08-15-2011 08:47 AM

According to the Bears' message boards Kreutz got completely manhandled by him last season.

Yeah i read that to...we might have to double team him.. one dirty hit on Drew and he will have the Dome crowd to deal with..

But Kreutz played the entire 1st half of the season hurt. He didn't get healthy until the 2nd half. In the 2nd game, Suh had 3 tackles and an assist, but nothing else.

Maverick2299 08-15-2011 09:26 AM

we will be ok, Bears allowed 9 sacks in there first season game the other night.....I wonder what they were missing.

ALLSAINTS66 08-15-2011 09:30 AM

Not to mention, Gregg Williams. His tenure with Buddy Ryan of "Purple People Eaters" fame taught him well, on how to make a player like Suh think twice before proceeding with bull****; sometimes, the retribution factor makes the risk of acting like an idiot, far too high. Not even the Lions are THAT stupid.

Haha, when we put in Shaun Rogers at RG for one play and just have him chase Suh around the field.

I've told ya'll before,

They only won six games last year and lost 10, but 6 of those 10 losses were by 4 points or less. They ended the season with a 4 game winning streak, one of the teams they beat was the Superbowl champion Green Bay Packers in week 14. Now, I'm not going to predict how many games they will win this year, I don't know their team that well, but the Detroit Lions better not be taken lightly this year, other wise, I think they will take advantage of it and burn someones butt.

and I'll tell ya again, don't take Detroit lightly this year, Suh or no Suh. I think Detroit is going to be tough this year. They destroyed the Bengals the other night (I know it was just the Bengals), but I'm going to keep a close eye on them.

I agree, Detroit is a dangerous team this year, but they have to stay healthy, they are thin across the field.

If Stafford can stay healthy, which he hasn't been able to do during the last two seasons, then the Lions have a chance. But if he can't, then I'd say they won't make the playoffs 'cos NFCN is not a easy division either.

They are my NFC Dark Horse. The Lions have been talented for a couple years now. They are poised, but they have to break that losing tradition - something we're all too familiar with. Do NOT sleep on the Lions...

That's also a good tip for anyone visiting your local zoo or planning a trip to Africa. :-)

Maverick2299 08-15-2011 03:24 PM

So do we get to sing In the jungle after we beat the lions?
