Lorenzen trying to catch on with Saints
“Tyler has really accepted the opportunity to play tight end for us,” Brees said at the outset of training camp. “You watch the way he has worked and the way his body has changed this offseason, going from 225 pounds to 250.
“You have to be a big, physical specimen to play tight end in this league because of all the things you are asked to do: run, block, catch, be tough, versatile and consistent,” he said. “I see how hard he’s worked and it’s those guys that deserve to succeed. I’m rooting for him this preseason.” Full article below. Making his move | Saints | The Advocate — Baton Rouge, LA |
I wish him all the luck in the world!! I would love to see him stick!

seems like drew is sugaring up a vote. he has to have hands being a qb. that dude humprey is solid, and seems to be a lock. then thomas and the beast grahm. how many te's they keep?
|
He's got a couple of more games to show his stuff.
|
I could see us going in to the season with Graham, Thomas and Lorenzen. Will be interesting to see if they keep a FB or let Thomas handle those duties.
|
I would rather dump the FB position and keep Jimmy, Dave and Tyler.
Tyler is the one guy I am pulling for to make the roster. This kid is putting his heart, not only to make the team but also into being the best person at the position for us. I sure have used the word 'position" alot today. |
Another position of depth. Wish it was the case for the O line
|
Tyler is a good hard working kid. I wish him good luck. He'll be my ticket to a Press Pass if he make the team.
