Put Hartley on IR..

Make Morstead kick instead of Hartley until he's healthy enough to play again!

I mean he already does the kick offs, so he could easily do at least the extra point kicks. If it means losing a roster spot to sign Kasey, I would rather have the Saints go for it on 4th downs until they get inside the range at which Morstead is comfortable in making the FG.

And cost us games?...i think i would rather Kasey..

He might be able to make 30 yard kicks, which about the same as Kasey has left in his foot.

If they really have to sign another kicker I would like that to be someone who has the leg strength to make 40+ or even 50 yard kicks if the need be.

Kasey just can't KO anymore, but we don't need that.

He still has leg strength ..hit a 55 yarder last year ..Made 25 of 29 and averages 57 on KOs...

OK. Maybe I just remember wrong. My recollection was that his leg strength didn't seem to be the same during his stint with the Saints, but I'll retract my earlier statement if I was wrong.

He never played for the Saints just the Seahags and Panties
