Fabian Washington to IR
 

Saints placed CB Fabian Washington on injured reserve, ending his season.

The injuries continue to pile up for Washington. The former first-round pick tore his ACL in 2009 and missed the majority of training camp this year with a hamstring injury. There wasn't much room for Washington in the Saints' deep and talented secondary anyway.

IR means another shot next year and a ring this year like Strato said.

Yeah, this is the time of year when a player bruises their finger putting a DVD of game film in the player, and that's enough to get them put on IR.
