Dan Pastorini takes a shot at Drew Brees!!
Speaking to CBSSportsline, Pastorini told reporters, “F— Drew Brees”, when speaking about the newly agreed to CBA and the compensation made to retired NFL players.
Full article below. Former NFL QB dumps on New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees |
Pastorini is a tool. I use to like him when he played when I was a kid but he has done some stupid things in his life. He was drunk and had a boating accident on a Houston river that he got out of. Wasted money on drag racing and now he thinks the NFL of today owes in something. Bite me pastorini!
|
Pastorini was one tough SOB..but he is completely wrong here..try being on social security ...
|
I was going to slam on Pastorini, but the writer already did that.
That's a thousand more a month than he already was getting... and he still has two arms and two legs. After all that time, my house should have already been paid for and there shouldn't be many bills besides the daily essentials if he were living within his means. Regarding his criticism of Drew, that's what happens when you want to be the face of the lock out. You're in a no win situation. |
Thanks for the info on Pastorini. Always hate to hear ppl hating on Brees for his involvement in the CBA. This puts it more in perspective.
|
I agree with papz... the writer already said what's on most peoples' minds when they read such BS from a former player, who clearly hasn't been smart with his financial planning in the past.
|
When you tell deadbeats to go f*** themselves, then they are going to tell you to go f*** yourself. Everyone knows what the score is, this doesn't effect Drew's reputation at all.
|
It wouldn't matter how much money he got because he would blow that as well. Same thing will happen to a good portion of the players today.
|
He's an idiot.
|
F--k who & the horse they rode in on??
Dont they also get medical care from the league?? Shut the f--k up. |
Need some Anger Management?
|
Come on, give the guy a break............he probably has brain damage from playing in those leather helmets.lol
|
we all knew drew was going to get it from past players , can't please all no matter who was helping with the deals. oh and bite me pastorelli
|
This will crush Drew and he will be finished... :crying:
58 more interceptions than touchdowns... Hmmm... Not exactly a Hall of Famer, either. Sounds like an under-achiever and still an under-achiever. Alaska |
Is he drunk again? Sounds like it to me!
|
Maybe that piece of sh't should have learned how to manage his money or picked another profession. He knew what he was getting into. I wonder how much his house is worth.
|
Welcome to the land of entitlement thinking. Unfortunatly it's not only in football.
|
Nice touch with the Kleenex!
|
"F___ Pastornini" This is a guy who in the league threw more interceptions than TD's... He always has been a whiner... Like what was said earlier he should have saved some of his money instead of investing it in Bars and ****tail waitresses... He has only himself to blame here.. Maybe if he would have been a better QB he would have made more cash...
GEAUX SAINTS!!! |
Pastorini forgot he's supposed hate the game, not the player. Perhaps the dude with the 59.1 QB rating needs another "remember me" shot.
|
wow
If Pastorini, who i was a huge faan of...thinks CBAis so easy, why doesnt he get involved? as a person who has been involved in CBA talks,....sometimes it isnt as easy as itcsounds when the majority of active members is as active as the NFL players were.
Before throwing the F bomb on a guy who maybe was doing his best against an ARMY of NFL lawyers, try getting more involved andattempting to push your best interest closer to a priority than the active players priority just saying |
ooops
forgive my typos...the bourbon was extra good tonight
|
Someone wrote Pastorelli that is funny in itself. Yeah I liked the Human Flak Jacket when he played but I was also young and gullible in those days. Dan was always in and out of the news always bad stuff. He chose to play away his money and now he is crying because fame and fortune has passed him by.
He is probably broke and living in someones basement next to the washing machine. From Wikipedia Pastorini raced hydroplanes, drag-raced cars, judged wet T-shirt contests, and starred in a 1974 B-movie called Weed: The Florida Connection and then co-starred in a 1979 Lee Majors movie called Killer Fish. He married glamour model June Wilkinson, who appeared in Playboy Magazine. She is British and 9 years older. They had one child, a daughter, and later divorced. Dan Pastorini drove a Top Fuel Dragster as part of the NHRA Full Throttle (Winston) Drag Racing Series in the mid 1980s. He collected several national event victories. His first came in Atlanta at the NHRA Southern Nationals in 1986. Pastorini currently lives and works in Houston. He currently is launching a new line of food products. Added comment: Yeah The Pastorini Pastry & Pastrami Company If your still awake here is the news article. After attending a Boys & Girls Club charity dinner in Bryan on Sunday evening, Pastorini allegedly caused a three-car accident in Bryan later that night. According to the Bryan Eagle, Pastorini's white Mercedes "was traveling south in the inside lane when it hit the back of a Toyota Tacoma that was in front of it, pushing the Toyota to the left and spinning it completely around and into oncoming traffic," where "the Toyota struck the left side of a northbound Ford Explorer." Taken to the hospital with minor injuries (no other drivers were hurt in the wreck), after midnight Pastorini was charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for failure to control his speed and not having a driver's license. Pastorini had a much more tragic water accident 33 years ago. Pastorini crashed a speedboat onto the shore, hitting a crowd of spectators and killing two people and seriously injuring three more during a race on Lake Mizell in Liberty, Texas on May 22, 1977. Pastorini's boat veered into the crowd after its engine and automatic steering mechanism reportedly both failed. Found innocent of criminal responsibility, Pastorini later settled a $1.5 million lawsuit filed by the parents of one of the survivors out of court. |
From the data presented, he must have lost all his wealth in settlements. I think we need to invent a word for the kind of ungrateful and belligerent overdeveloped sense of entitlement exhibited by the likes of this "person."

Dan, think before you speak.

Did he go to college and an education before playing in the NFL?

I'm a fan of Pastorini, and I still like him. I know he has a good side, and when in the right company, his head is on right. I could tell you about a
dozen good things about him. I dont need Wiki to tell you about a dozen pieces of questionable things about him. I remember it all. I am biased, as Pastorini is who I was when I played in my Grandma's yard. I have a bad-ass cousin who does stupid stuff, who I love like a brother. Thats the relationship Houston people have with Pastorini. He, by the way is not anywhere near broke or forgotten here. This was a stupid thing for him to say, and he owes Drew Brees an apology. Even if you feel they owe you something, you have to keep in mind your perception-- you dont want to sound "entitled," and I halfway agree they are. A lot of Americans would be thrilled to get 1,000 extra/ month. Its my job to take care of me, and make sure I save my money-- nobody elses, and you could live comfortably on the money, he has no doubt wasted, racing, drinking, and chasing booty. You sure dont do yourself any favors dropping F-bombs on one of the best guys in all of Sports. Pastorini does still get considerable income for public appearances, autograph signings, etc. The last thing he should do is erode the Houston public's dubious reverence for him. I hope Pastorini, and my beloved bad cousin get their sh** together, and live happily on. Drew Brees, of course, is and will be just fine. |
I like Skymike's analogy with his cousin it does put things in perspective.

Personally, I am not making any predictions. I am just going to sit back and see how the whole thing plays out...but I am not going to just assume that he is all about NO and what is best for the team and city. |
(Brilliant quote from me:) "You sure dont do yourself any favors dropping F-bombs on one of the best guys in all of Sports..." |

I don't think I have ever tried to hide what I don't like about him...and I don't think "don't like" is appropriate. It is what I suspect. I suspect that he has a huge ego that needs satisfying too much. I suspect that he has a need to "cheer" his teammates on too much. If he spends any time at all making up "chants", then for me personally, that is too much. Maybe he has that "Napoleon" thing going on. Don't you just hate people like that? |
no, im sure about it, I just decided not to go there, since I have friends on both sides of the ideology aisle.
"Napoleon" shot-- hahahaha! I've never heard any of that stuff before. I heard Napoleon was actually pretty popular in N.O. though. I know you youre not big on "popular." I also dont think you like happy people, or people with enthusiasm. If we were teenagers now, you'd be an emo. Jesus, Drew Brees, and Me (although in no other ways comparable) all have haters. You and my ex-wife can have the last word. I have stuff to do. :) |
So Drew is a midget conservative?...lol...he is going to want big bucks...
