New Orleans Saints receiver Lance Moore missed the team portion of practice again Tuesday as he continues to recover from a groin injury. Obviously that hurts Moore's chances of playing Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers, though Coach Sean Payton did not expand on Moore's status.
The Saints will release one final injury report following their Wednesday walk-through, though chances are Moore will be listed as "questionable."

I don't think he'll play. At least we're deep at WR.

Payton and the staff are not going to reveal a dang thing to the public. Although I don't see him playing, I am grateful we have a good set of receivers without him.

He'll catch at least one maybe two TDs thursday night, I don't believe a thing Payton says when I comes to player status

Assuming you are talking about Moore...While I agree Payton is cloak and dagger when it comes to IR's, the fact is Moore hasn't practiced since Sunday. I don't see him playing given those facts.

Hope I am wrong.

It's a groin right? Deep as we are at WR I'd sit him until he was 110%.

With the betting and rules about reporting injuries that the NFL has, it's hard for a team to smokescreen a player's status. It's not like hockey where a team can say a player has "a lower body injury" and list him as a skate time decision. Payton sure does what he can though.

Is it me or do the Saints have an unusual amount of injuries? Do we not have strength coaches etc. to keep our players from having so many injuries?
