Not good news, groin injuries are a tricky thing. Hope it isn't too serious and he can get back to playing soon! We need dem hands of his!

Plus many or our "groin pulls" turn out to really be sports hernias.

The Packers are a bunch of Cork Soakers.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR
since this game could determine home field advantage for the playoffs and
we sure as hell don't want to return to Green Bay.

I think Special Teams may be the difference, and our Kicker is out. :|

SaintsRule11 09-07-2011 06:05 PM

This is bad. But it's only one game that no one expects us to win anyway. I feel very confident that the Packers are going to win this, but again, it's just one game. We will stomp the Bears and Texans the following two weeks and be right back on top.

Says who? ESPN? :bng: Nobody picked us to beat the Colts either.

Rugby Saint II 09-07-2011 06:28 PM

Did anyone really expect him to start?

homerj07 09-07-2011 06:45 PM

F--k, F--kity, F--k, F--k!! Seriously this is becoming ridiculous!! :bs:

When I first saw Arrington I was very excited our team as he seemed like another Colston; a big, strong possession receiver with good hands... a few years on and I am actually sick of hearing about him. You could be the fastest, best sticky-handed route-runner ever but if you can't get your ass off the injury bench you are no good to anyone and you take up valuable room. I really want the guy to prove me wrong and step up to the plate but why do I get the feeling that he will have 2 plays, if that, and then go limping to the sidelines. Sorry if it seems I am being harsh but there it is.

Well the Super Bowl was really like a home game for us with over 60% of the crowd being Saints fans. This is going to be purely hostile territory and extremely loud. With Will Smith and Lance Moore out I give the Saints about a 20% chance to win this game.

Injuries are part of the NFL. Everyone is dinged up. But losing Moore and Will Smith is not going to be the difference in this game. We'll win because we have the best damn quarterback in the NFL! Top that off with a very good HC and a pissed off DC. Saints are gonna win this. Count on it!

I totally agree with you. I wanted to see what Morgan could do over Arrington. After Morgan went down I hoped we would bring in a vet for that last spot.

RaginCajun83 09-07-2011 10:51 PM

Normally I don't listen to cliche player speak but Vilma had a point "win or loose this game, there will be things to correct. Remember its only one game and there are 15 more" .....

QBREES9 09-07-2011 10:58 PM

Lance get well and come back when you're 100%.

Lol Yes I am a fan but I'm also a realist. I would have much preferred facing off against some lame team like the Jaguars or the Raiders and I dread this game tomorrow. I will be very glad when it's over.

Crusader 09-08-2011 05:45 AM

£@Ä#¤§+* Brittle little midget....

Danno 09-08-2011 07:52 AM

Thats now 11 games missed in two years. Is he now our most fragile weapon?

Cruize 09-08-2011 11:51 AM

For some reason, and I have no reason for it, lol, I think this could be Charles Grant Part Deux. Got paid. Showed no mo. Surely I'm wrong.

Mardigras9 09-08-2011 11:58 AM

Finley being probable helps with the loss of Moore, but whoever runs the ball effectively tonight, wins. The teams are so evenly stacked. In a close game, our current field goal situation is nerve racking.

mighty12 09-08-2011 04:33 PM

I am not buying that lance is going to be missed that much. During the SB run of '09 he played in 7 of 16 games and not any of the big games, I.e. Philly and NE

Luda34 09-08-2011 04:38 PM

Running game has to step up tonight and screen plays.

AlaskaSaints 09-08-2011 04:45 PM

Please don't start with the "strategic loss" talk, PLEASE.

I will be crushed if we lose this game.
You will be crushed if we lose this game.
We will be crushed if we lose this game.

Them are the facts, right there!

Alaska

darstep 09-08-2011 05:24 PM

The screens have sucked royally all pre-season. Whether predictable or just not well executed, they only seem to work when all the other things work.
I hate that Lance is out because of his 3rd down effectiveness and ability to separate and get open. Hopefully he's back soon because none of the others are quick cut route runners. A good running attack makes up the difference and Graham can step it up and fill that gap. Our defense will make the difference tonight - pro or con. Tackling , pressure, and coverage turns the tide.
