Good game guys

Hey guys I know that was a tough loss but keep your head up. Hopefully you guys can look at the film and clean things up so you can get back to true form for next week. I hope you guys kill the Bears next week, we will be on your side. Keep your heads up guys. I have been through tough losses like this. God bless.

saintfan 09-08-2011 11:18 PM

You guys are good. Not quite as good as our D made you look tonight tho. LOL

See you in the playoffs dude...

SaintPauly 09-08-2011 11:19 PM

Thank you sir, and all I can say, is that you showed us exactly how far we have to go, to get back to championship form. I just don't see the chemistry on this team, or last years, that I seen on our superbowl year. They seem to be strangers to each other on the field. No fire, no desire. There were points tonight, where it actually looked like the defense just gave up. Just my opinion, but that's the way i feel. Good luck to you guys the rest of the season.

Arodgers12 09-08-2011 11:19 PM

Our defense looked bad too though. Very concerned about that. Hope you guys bounce back though, always had a soft spot for the saints when your not playing us. Our offense looks in top form though so hopefully we can keep that going. I hope we can get back to the super bowl but we have to take it one game at a time.

cajun911 09-08-2011 11:22 PM

Watching the press conference... Aaron Rogers is a ****in dick head. He said twice about the packers success was off season workouts with an obvious smirk on his face poking fun at the Saints. What an *******!

|Mitch| 09-08-2011 11:24 PM

Yeah both defenses were horrendous tonight; damn near 500 yards put up on both sides.

If it weren't for that fumble or the return touchdown, it would have been ours.

Oh well; On to the Bears next week...

SmashMouth 09-08-2011 11:25 PM

Good game to you too. It was fun... See ya in the nfc championship game.

Yep; Acting like their destined to win the SB again, because they got the win tonight. Lost all respect...

I dont see whats so bad about that. He wasnt poking or taking shots at the saints.

Good game.

Great game on your part, no doubt. The players we have are the players we have. Seems we got rid of the good ones and replaced them with bad ones and the good ones we kept forgot how to play. I doubt seriously we win next week or the week after. Good luck to ya'll the rest of the way, I don't think you need to worry about seeing us in the playoffs.:bng:

Maverick2299 09-08-2011 11:40 PM

There D played just as bad....so I guess they wont make it ether.

MorningWood 09-08-2011 11:41 PM

Hopefully our team doesn't have your attitude Marlboro.

lumm0x 09-08-2011 11:45 PM

Pack got that one turnover we didn't. It was a battle of big plays and we lost it. Both defenses struggled to get stops at all. Packers tackling was slightly better than ours. Both QB's were flawless. Both sets of receivers did their damage and each run game had moments of nice gains. Pretty much a wash offensively.

I'm not overly depressed. We lost to the best team in the game right now and if we can shore up defensively we will still be a team to be reckoned with.

Finally some sanity

SaintPauly 09-08-2011 11:47 PM

I'm not pleased with the defense. That's my main problem with this game tonight. With all of the hoopla coming into the season, about how the problems on defense were fixed, I didn't see any improvement at all. TACKLE SOMEBODY. That's it! Just tackle! Stop worrying about stripping the ball, and put them in the dirt! I don't think that's too much to ask.

jnormand 09-08-2011 11:47 PM

For fear of being misinterpreted as a "poor loser", I'll hold my comments about the jawing of Aaron Rogers at the press conference. All I can say is....not impressed and I no longer respect him. He could have and should have conducted himself better. If a Saints player acted that way, I would feel the same. See ya later this year Rogers, if ya'll can make it to the post season with that **** attitude.

phatoosdey 09-08-2011 11:50 PM

i thought it was a great game
mistakes on both sides by 2 very good teams
would have loved a win but its a loss i can handle
go saints!

How in the world, can you say, that the QB's were flawless? Our redzone offense, which has been in the top for what? The past three years? Now, we have forgotten how to get in the endzone? Running when we should be passing and vice versa.... I respect your opinion, but Payton was out called tonight.

jnormand 09-08-2011 11:50 PM

I'm disapointed about the loss, but I've got high expectations for the Saints. I think they will be great this year. For a loss, I'm about as happy as I can be.

Maverick2299 09-08-2011 11:52 PM

Qb's were flawless because they played with near perfect passer ratings. That's flawless, the teams did not play flawless/

SaintPauly 09-08-2011 11:54 PM

I disagree. Stats are stats, but the only stat that matters is who wins, and who loses. Drew needs to run, when he doesn't have a play. Especially when he has a wide open field to do it in. And this is NOT something I just started saying today. I have been saying it for years.

Maverick2299 09-08-2011 11:59 PM

I agree, but the term flawless for the QB's play is correct. Thats why I said the team did not play flawless.

Drew hit 32/49 419 yards and 3 touchdowns, no INT.

I agree and a lot of that was under pressure...

Green Bay has real fans.

Observe and learn.

Yea but no one listens because you're a disloyal whiner of a fan that couldn't tackle a crippled mouse.

Just because you have a keyboard doesn't mean your opinion about professionals means anything. You just whine a lot about your own team.

Move to Atlanta. You're more like their fans.

cmike 09-09-2011 06:44 AM

I think everyone just needs to take a deep breath and relax. Are both defenses really that bad or do both teams have REALLY good offenses? I'm willing to bet that no-one in the world thought this would be a low scoring
9-6 game. So why are we acting surprised that the game went the way it did? What, were we expecting the kickers to score 30+ points each.I guarantee the other 30 coaches in the league just cringed watching both offenses perform.

Saintswrath 09-09-2011 07:04 AM

We were pretty much even with GB, it came down to a turnover, not a big deal to me... If we can clean the errors up and get the Defense straight we'll be straight.

papz 09-09-2011 07:06 AM

Good game... one hell of an opening. See you guys in the playoffs.

Ashley 09-09-2011 07:58 AM

Fun game to watch, and we both should be in the playoffs. Hopefully we will fix our bad D and come out on top next time.

JoanieNTX 09-09-2011 10:11 AM

It's ONE game. Players should NOT get the attitude that they or their team are invincible. Seems that is usually the beginning of their demise! We shall see. Pride goeth before the fall, you know! We had some bright spots....loved Sproles' entre'! Didn't care for Colston's fumble. :( That was a big game changer. Put us in a hole. We'll get there! We now have a guage!

Fleured 09-09-2011 02:06 PM

See you guys at the Dome in the divisionals! http://209.85.12.234/7361/20/emo/velvetnoose.gif

It was directed at the media. Reporters were consistently questioning the Packers work ethic and leadership because they didn't do what the Saints had done with player organized practices.

Rodgers is a good guy with a solid disposition.

Yeah it's been going on all off season up to the game. Everyone has their breaking point.

When a defender knocks the ball from a ball carrier with his helmet, there isnt a lot that can be done about that.

It wasnt like Colston stretched the ball to pick up a 1st down or extra yardage; it was a great play by the defender

Yep, I can't imagine Drew Brees making such a childish immature whiney-ass comment like that to anyone.

Rodgers will get what he deserves soon enough, and I'll be LMAO at that punk.

You guys are too touchy. It was directed towards the media. I promise.

I would agree for the most part. I think it was a closely matched contest. We had a couple of big plays and so did the Pack. I didn't feel suicidal after this loss.
