Now for the bad news on the Saints/Bearts ganme
Chicago @ New Orleans
Joe Buck, Troy Aikman |
Why did I open this thread?
(no offense 656) |
|
them in a early game ,really bunk
|
I don't think they're the worst duo, but certainly not the best either. I do think Aikman has some interestting things to say once in a while, but Buck is just crap crap crap.
|
I will take them anytime but if I here Chris Collinsworth voice I don't even want to watch the game I HATE that guy.
|
Buck and Troy hold hands underneath the table! Now thats crap lol
|
Turn down the sound of your TV and turn up WWL 870. You can now here 870 through your computer for free for the games. All you have to do is sign up for their Big Talkers club which is also free. Might have to use your DVR feature to sync the broadcast though. I did this for the Titans preseason game because nfl.com used the Titan broadcast.
|
The delay kills me worst than them two Buds! Why and the hell didn't I think of syncing it with my DVR!!!!!!That's the problem I wasn't thinking!lol +1 Buds!
|
OOfffdaaaa...
Alaska |
I don't have a problem with either one of them. I can think of a lot worse to be sure.
|
Aikman is pretty good I think. That other idiot however....
|
Yeah, Aikman's ok, Buck is a fool. He's more worried about his hair than knowing anything about who's playing.
|
In addition to TRACY PORTER being OUT with a calf injury:
Receiver Lance Moore (groin) practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day, which is a good sign that he might (MIGHT?!?!?!?!) be able to make his 2011 debut against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Safety Roman Harper (ankle) returned to practice on a limited (LIMITED?!?!?! GREAT!) basis after being held out on Wednesday. Receiver Marques Colston (collarbone), kicker Garrett Hartley (hip) and defensive tackle Tom Johnson (calf) also missed Thursday's practice. Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers was excused from practice for a family matter. I KNOW I CANNOT F$%king curse here. But We gonna play the bears with our second string team? Thursdays still young... WTF? |
I'm glad I'll be at the game and not listening to those two clowns on TV!
|
Aikman is alright but he's a little slow......and Buck always seems like he wants to impress some one with just how much he could care less about the game.
|
I never had a problem with Aikman. Buck is an arrogant blowhard. But at least it's not Collinsworthless.
|
They're the best there is. Whats the problem?

I cant stand the way Buck stares at Aikman like a puppy. The man crush is so obvious my wife noticed it!! |
I wouldn't care if my ex-wife's nagging voice was calling the game... AS LONG AS WE WIN.

DON'T FORGET
The local Saints game radio broadcast on WWL 870 AM is streaming over the internet at www.wwl.com. :bng: |
My local Fox station here in Tuscaloosa is showing the Packers vs. Panthers game. Scam Newton breaks my heart again. LOL.
|
No Baldinger. No Billick.
NO PROBLEM |
I like both of them. Smooth and informative.
They let the game be the entertainment, not the broadcast. I can't think of a better crew. |
I just look forward to 2 things, knowing these 2 will be calling the game...
I'm looking forward to hearing Buck say, "_____, (insert any Saint receiver here) over the middle...TOUCHDOWN!" I'll be surprised if I don't hear that. The 2nd thing I look forward to is after the game. I can't explain it, but my wife...I guess it's like that episode of ELR when Deborah, (or Debra?) is taking aerobic classes. Troy seems to have the same effect on her. |
I hardly even hear those guys. I'm too busy trying to subliminally telepath instructions to Sean Payton and Greg Williams. Every now and then I get through to Greg but Payton must be operating on a higher frequency.
|
I remember once when I was a kid the NFL did an experimental game where there were no announcers. It sucked. I mean, either you like the guys and enjoy what they do and how they do it or you hate them so you enjoy hating on them and throwing stuff at the TV when they say something stupid. But that's part of the fun. :-)
Personally Buck and Aikman do a fine job IMO. I think that no team today is an entertaining as Madden/Summeral, but I loved those guys and for me that's a pretty tall order. Like someone else said, I'm sure as hell glad we didn't draw Billick, and oh yeah, Collinsworth may very well be a nice person and a good father or whatever, but he's a condescending :censored: sucker calling a game. :-) |
I dig Al Michaels too... but I'll say this... ANYBODY sounds good when we WIN.
