Porter Injured

Cornerback Tracy Porter added to New Orleans Saints' injury report | NOLA.com

We need another CB next draft.

xan 09-15-2011 03:19 PM

Where's Sharper? don't we need him to let Jenkins be a corner?

AlaskaSaints 09-15-2011 03:32 PM

This is becoming rediculous...... EVERY single year...I swear man

strato 09-15-2011 03:41 PM

Get Gay and Sharper on the phone ...quick..

Cruize 09-15-2011 03:44 PM

Maybe his pulls and tweaks will heal quickly. He's certainly not in any danger of getting hurt due to contact.

Sinner 09-15-2011 04:10 PM

Ridiculous. WTF with this $hit? Can we rent Ed Reed?

"Receiver Lance Moore (groin) practiced on a limited basis for the second straight day, which is a good sign that he might be able to make his 2011 debut against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Safety Roman Harper (ankle) returned to practice on a limited basis after being held out on Wednesday.
Receiver Marques Colston (collarbone), kicker Garrett Hartley (hip) and defensive tackle Tom Johnson (calf) also missed Thursday's practice.
Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers was excused from practice for a family matter."

Drew Brees announced that he was planning to stay home with his family this Sunday, (to protect himself from Peppers). Coach Sean Payton said it was a good idea and added, "We have no interest in signing anyone at this point, as we feel confident that by game day, Morstead will be ready to punt back and forth in the dome, and there is ample room on the Saint's sidelines for our best players to park their wheelchairs and watch the circus." Payton was thinking of having all remaining players conduct thursdays practice on stilts, while juggling machetes. (yeah, sorry I'm freakin pissed)

Too funny Sinner. I included the Randy Moss LOL just for you.

But, WTF, seriously?! Can't the Saints get any brakes concerning the health of their secondary?!

Sinner 09-15-2011 04:41 PM

WHAT IS GOING ON?

44Champs 09-15-2011 04:51 PM

Luckily it doesn't sound too serious. I tore my calf once and was out for 8 weeks. This sounds like a day by day thing for Porter.

AlaskaSaints 09-15-2011 04:56 PM

If he had gotten a Superbowl bonus, inline with the heroic stunts he pulled to get us there and win it, he wouldn't be pulling up lame every year thereafter, what do you want to bet?

What is up with Tracy Porcelain?...this is getting redonkulous

Rugby Saint II 09-15-2011 05:44 PM

Payton always has and doesn't ever stop bringing in corners.....they're his passion. He knows weak corners can get you killed. I wish he had the same passion for the run game.

Mike, I clicked "like" because I wanna curse... not cause I like this sh**

|Mitch| 09-15-2011 06:20 PM

Porter plays; I don't see a little tightness in a calf muscle keeping you from not starting this game.

Cornerback Tracy Porter was added to the New Orleans Saints' injury report with a calf injury. He did not practice Thursday after feeling tightness in the calf in the morning.

Coach Sean Payton said the injury did not seem significant when it occurred during Wednesday's practice. He said the team will see how he looks Friday after a day of rest.

Good grief guys, I don't remember these types of severe over-reactions ever.

WTF is going on... he had tighness of the calf and you'd think by your reactions that his freaking leg was severed off.

In other stunning news, Vilma got a bad haircut and is slightly perturbed about it. His status for Sunday is day to day.

With our luck, Vilma's haircut will have him "day-to-day".

homerj07 09-15-2011 08:24 PM

Who ever left the mojo machine on - go & check & make sure it is not set to "BAD"!

(PLEASE!!)

Speedy Ron 09-15-2011 08:34 PM

too bad our last 1st round corner pick sucks.

Sinner 09-15-2011 09:34 PM

T Port needs all the practice he can get. When someone said, "Bring the wood", they didn't mean that the trainers should hit our guys with baseball bats...

TheDeuce 09-15-2011 10:34 PM

Somebody needs to be fired for this travesty.

Brakes stop cars.

Crusader 09-16-2011 12:28 AM

C'mon people from the reactions on here I though he got run over by a bus. I mean if he has a tight calf, let the man sit for a day, giv it a good massage and som ice and heat and he'll be ready to go come gameday. If he instead practises on it he might make it a real injury.

NOS2SB 09-16-2011 12:37 AM

It doesn't sound that serious. Let's see what it looks like today. Sean is always going to rest a guy just to be safe.

Fire the Strength and conditioning coach.. cause every year we have been having these issues

Sinner 09-16-2011 09:44 AM

Yeah. Calves should be at their strongest point right now.
