Good game.

But I have to kind of agree with the rap on Cutler. Cutler's body language on the field was frankly terrible. I look at all that stuff when I'm actually at the game, in between plays, during commercial timeouts, when they do the silly speedboat races on the jumbotron etc. I watch the players' body language during those breaks, and there were a lot of times where Cutler really looked like he just wanted to be somewhere else. My rap on the current Bears, is that they have a formidable team when their "formula" of defense and great special teams works, but when they run into adversity, or problems with that strategy, they can't seem to tip the balance back in their favor. It's a different style of football from the Saints, where even in losing situations (Saints/Packers opener game, or even the Saints/Seahawks playoff game last year), where the current may be against them and they're behind on the scoreboard, but the Saints are always still scrapping away at the very very end. In contrast to Cutler, who I felt had started packing his bag and planning his checkout from the hotel, sometime in the late third quarter.

Good luck to you the rest of the way!

Do yourself a favor and read "Home Team" by Sean Payton.
This team's attitude is a reflection of it's Head Coach.

When the going gets tough the tough needs to get going and rally up his team. It just seems like he was very flustered and with good reason but a true leader would have done a better job in rallying his troops behind him..

You must be talking about GW

Awww, so now I have to read it a third time? Read it once at Christmas and once again on jury duty, LOL. But yeah, I agree and know exactly what you mean!

Only criticism is I don't like the attitude of Cutler your QB, or maybe I just don't "get it" when it comes to him, OR maybe it's just the way he carries himself. He just doesn't come off as a leader in the clutch.

Otherwise good game. We brought our best to beat you guys.

Thanks for coming back to discuss.

I agree, when things start to go south it is usually not the best for a Leader to act like that, but it is clear that cutler does not feel he has a chance to get the ball out. Martz offense does not allow audibles, so even if Cutler saw the blitz coming he had to stick with the plays. I can not imagin how frusterating that would be. Especially, looking at him when he was in denver. Alot had to do with him being able to make something out of a play breaking down. Right now the offense does not allow for that type of flexibility. People come in all shapes and sizes and I just think it is who he is. I still would rather have him on my team then most qbs in the league. If he gets a chance he will dominate... and that is the problem he is not getting a chance. as far as the kreutz comment earlier, I stand by it.

Just think; if you still had Kruetz you may have not given up 6 sacks 20+ hits on Cutler...

Good luck to you, too. Maybe you can give Green Bay some pay back for us.

The problem for the Bears is Martz's offense just doesn't match his personel. Yes, Cutler has the arm, but when Hester is your #1 WR and your o-line is just not good, the vertical passing game just isn't going to work. The Bears have a great defense and a young horse at RB. Run the ball, mix in some play action with some short routes and dump offs, and play defense.
