Now I see why a lot of NFL players don't respect Jay Cutler
I'm so glad our D pounded him over and over and over and over again. He's probably the biggest whiner/baby qb in the league. if I recall, he never had a winning season at Vanderbilt, and he was obviously a loser in Denver.
He might have a strong arm, but he's definitely not a leader. He hangs his head lower than Eli when he walks to the sidelines and pouts in his sorrow. He reminds me of a Jeff George with a quitter mentality. He should read Brees's book and watch some film of him so he can learn how to be a leader. Whew - glad I got that off my chest. :) |
He is one sore dude this morning..lol..thats enough for me..but his O-Line really threw him to the wolves..
|
Strato you're not kidding! It's almost like his O-Line got together on the sidelines and said "Let's let the punk get sacked a couple of times" lol
|
I think Harper went to him and said "look just throw it up to me and let me get an INT, that will teach them".
|
I feel bad for Cutler. His FO and HC and OC don't care much about the o-line. They obviously don't spend enough time working out assignments nor acquiring NFL caliber players (no disrespect to those players in uniform.)
The best you could say is that he's getting paid to be pummeled or, rather, to see if he can avoid getting pummeled. You can't seriously call him out on toughness given he has been the most hit/sacked qb in the league over the last 3 years BY FAR. Someone in the FO must have a super huge insurance policy on him. It is not rational otherwise. |
To his credit he isn't allowed to audible out of calls. I'm sure there are some plays he knows he's gonna get slaughtered. Thats gotta be frustrating.
He's one tough SOB. |
I think he takes a beating pretty well........the criticism should be him wearing negative emotions on his sleeves.
|
Cutler is a Whiner, always has, always will be...

And they gave us Kreutz because he wasn't strong enough anymore... LOL
Kreutz looked alot like a Saint yesterday. I love the way Cutler's play is affected by his attitude. He's working his way out of the league for sure with all the pouting and whining. Alaska |
According to FOX’s game coverage, Jay Cutler was either hit or knocked down 26 times in New Orleans Sunday. “We kicked their ass,” said one unnamed Saints defender. "They refuse to block blitzes. It was unbelievable how much we hit Cutler.”
|
I can't hate on Cutler. I'm going to tell you all, if I had to put my behind in the hands of a line like that I'd be pissed off all the time too. I'd whine. I'd *****. I'd moan. I'd walk around sulking.
Then I'd wake up on Monday and cash my game check. I'd feel better for a few days, but by Friday I'd know what's coming so I'd be visible hacked off all over again. Say what you want about Cutler. He is a tough mother ****er. |

Not a fan of Cutler but if I were him I would be pissed too. He was one of the most sacked QB's last year and looks like he may be again this year.

What surprises me is the Falcants couldn't figure them out LOL. I'm happy actually LOL.

I think the Bears is doing him a great injustice by having Martz as a OC, I mean the guy is getting killed. If I were him I'd be F-bomb Martz I'm switching plays to save my life. If he keep getting hit like he was sunday he won't make it trough the first half of the season.
|
What kind of douchenozzle wears #6?
|
The system clearly doesn't fit the personel. L. Smith should step in and get Martz to change it and tweak it. If Martz can't get on board, he needs to go. Any system that allows your QB to get continually hit like that is just crazy. If I were Cutler, I would let it be known if things don't change, I wanted to be traded or I was going to retire. Yes, he's getting paid. But, he's going to be crippled and brain damaged at 40.
