My money was on IR'ing Hartley. And while I don't typically second-guess Payton, I will say this: he is one hard-headed SOB. Hartley has been, in a lot of ways, just like Bush. Up and down, inconsistent, makes you nervous when he's near the ball, etc., etc. But for some reason, SP has a thing for him...

Has anyone else noticed how nice it is when Kasay kicks? Not the fact that his kicks split the uprights, so much as they don't hook like a bad golf shot!!

His agent says they aren't opposed to the PS but that they will explore all his options. Doesn't sound encouraging I'm afraid.

Nevermind...I see that he did clear and now on practice squad.

Hartley makes me nervous as hell also, he did kick us into the super bowl though...and that has gone a long way with me.
