this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I never blame Refs for anything, its part of the game, but this game was ridiculous. Brees gets SPEARED, helmet to helmet, late, and then gets pushed and they recall the flag. Someone else got speared, and a blaten head ...

The obligatory Officiating thread.
I never blame Refs for anything, its part of the game, but this game was ridiculous. Brees gets SPEARED, helmet to helmet, late, and then gets pushed and they recall the flag. Someone else got speared, and a blaten head turning facemask that got ignored. To top it all off the Refs were snickering throughout the whole game. Totally bogus and unprofessional. I don't recall a game where the officiating was so one sided. I know the league wants the Texans to win because they are underdogs and it is good for ratings, but this is borderline on rigging. If one of our guys would have hit Matt Ryan or Aaron Rodgers like that spear on Brees our guy would have been ejected and possibly suspended.
