The obligatory Officiating thread.
 

I never blame Refs for anything, its part of the game, but this game was ridiculous. Brees gets SPEARED, helmet to helmet, late, and then gets pushed and they recall the flag. Someone else got speared, and a blaten head turning facemask that got ignored. To top it all off the Refs were snickering throughout the whole game. Totally bogus and unprofessional. I don't recall a game where the officiating was so one sided. I know the league wants the Texans to win because they are underdogs and it is good for ratings, but this is borderline on rigging. If one of our guys would have hit Matt Ryan or Aaron Rodgers like that spear on Brees our guy would have been ejected and possibly suspended.

Not to mention a blatant pass interference when the defender tried to take our players head off.

Officiating wasn't good. And you could tell there were "makeup" calls they were trying to throw out there.

I totally agree, HORRIBLE officiating, but hey no serious injuries + a win! Im just really glad we won, the Texans were getting a little too ****y.

The spearing the Texans were doing today was ridiculous. Even more ridiculous was the Refs. I know Brees slid late but geez it was a obvious helmet to helmet. I guess when your last name isn't Brady you won't get those calls.

The Texans play hard man. They really aim to punish their opponents and we're top of the list.

It was bad. I don't think it was one-sided though. We got away with a few ourselves.

sorry i always thought some of those conversations the official have with box is calls forwarded from the comish's office telling them how to call the game.

I use to think that the Saints got bad calls back in the bad ol' days for 2 reasons...

1) Corrupt officiating...money on game

2) These are the Saints...they had to screwed up

I think we have finally, after over 40 years, shed #2...but I feel that as long as there is money in circulation we will always have to deal with #1.
